Grealie W. "Bill" Bailey was the son of David (s/o Dodddridge) and Sallie (Starcher) Bailey of Calhoun County. David's second wife was Etta Wine. Grealie married Bethel, daughter of James Thompson, also of Calhoun County. Bethel's foster mother was Laura Hall of Spencer, Roane County. The daughters of Grealie and Bethel, shown in the photos, were Madlyn, Thelma and Ernestine.
