She was a member of the First United Methodist in Dunbar and United Methodist Women. He was formerly a meat cutter for Dunbar Super Market. He was a member of the Roxalana EUB Church and veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow, Irene; two sons Joe and James, both of Dunbar; two daughters, Mrs. Rosalie Adams of Silver Spring, Md., and Mrs. Emma Ruth Osborn of San Fernando, Philippines: two brothers Homer of Dunbar and Clyde of Harrisonville, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
