PAUL RADABAUGH
Paul Radabaugh, 85, of Parkersburg, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at St. Joseph
Hospital, Parkersburg.
He was born at Tanner, the son of the late Charley and Minnie Burrows Radabaugh.
He was retired from Consolidated Natural Gas Co. and was a foreman at Smithville
District office. He was a member of Harrisville Baptist Church where he served
on the board of deacons.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Ermal Kelley Radabaugh; one son, Robert
Radabaugh of Belpre, Ohio; one daughter, Reta J. Davis of Veto Lake, Ohio; one
sister, Opal McMillin of Martinsburg; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Fonda Whipkey, and one infant
granddaughter.
Services will be held Friday, 11 a.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville.
Burial will be in Nobe Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on
Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions
be made to Harrisville Baptist Church.

Edna Radcliff, 86, of Mentor, Ohio, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, in Alter Care of Mentor.
She was born in Calhoun County, the daughter of the late James W. and Minnie Fox Fluharty.
Surviving are one daughter, Lynne Thomas of Mentor; one son, David Radcliff of Toledo, Ohio; one brother, James Delmas Fluharty of Big Springs; and one sister, Willadean Bush of Palm Harbor, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber C. Radtkin; one sister; and two brothers.
Services were held in Mentor.

Fred Euegene Radcliff, 57, of Sand Ridge, died Wednesday, Mar. 29, 2000, in Parkview
Health Care Center, Parkersburg.
He was born in Weston and was a retired oil field worker. He was a member of VFW,
Grantsville.
Surviving are his mother, Georgia A. Lott of Big Bend; step-father, Ronzel L. Lott of
Big Bend; three daughters, Penny Simpson of Maryland, Carolyn Prunty of Harrisville
and Brenda Harris of Big Bend; one son, Richard Radcliff of Grantsville; two brothers,
Larry D. Radcliff, Sr., of Annamoriah and Gerald D. Riddle of Big Bend; and five
grandchildren.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family, with the body to be
cremated. The family suggested donations to his mother, Georgia Lott, Box 171-D, Big
Bend, WV 26136.

Larry Dell Radcliff, 57, of Annamoriah, died Wednesday, Apr. 17, 2002, at his
home.
He was born in Gilmer County and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and
an oil field worker.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Radcliff of Annamoriah; his mother, Georgia A. Lott
of Big Bend; one daughter, Kelley Radcliff of Newark, Ohio; two sons, Larry
Christopher Radcliff of Beaumont, Tex., and Larry Dale Radcliff of Big Bend; one
stepson, Randy Jones of Nicut; one step-daughter, Theresa Melzer of Tuscarawas,
Ohio; step-father, Ronzel L. Loft of Big Bend; one brother, Gerald A. Riddle of
Big Bend; and seven grandchildren, Grandon Radcliff, Anastasia Radcliff, Ashley
Davis, Dakota Jones, Chelsa Campbell, Alicyh Campbell and Taylor Richards.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Eugene Radcliff.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. C.W. McDonald
officiating. Burial was in Big Bend Cemetery.

Eulia F. Rader, 88, of Grantsville, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center Long Term Care.
She was born at Stinson, the daughter of the late Henry Rent and Effie Shaffer Jarvis.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy Bowman of Grantsville and Jean Pitz of Barberton, Ohio; five sons, Charles Rider and Homer Rader, both of Barberton, Ernest Rider of Annamoriah, James Rader of Fontana, Calif., and Russell Rader of Anaheim, Calif.; two sisters, Birdie Metheney and Murlene Drake, both of Creston, Ohio; two brothers, Lester Jarvis of Madison, Ohio, and Dale Jarvis of Perry, Ohio; 28 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Coy Rader; one daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Vasquez; one son, Robert Rider; and six brothers.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Jim Skedel officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

MARSHALL RADER
Marshall Eugene Rader, 75, of Parkersburg, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at St.
Joseph Hospital, Parkersburg.
He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late Lonnie and Roxie Sommerville
Rader. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and retired in 1990 from
Keene Corp. He was a member of Christ Mission Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Marshall P. Rader of Concord, N.C., and Mark E. Rader of
Vincent, Ohio; four daughters, Sylvia J. Lyons of Belleville, Linda S. Kebaugh
of Hendersonville, Tenn., Mona L. Law of Belpre and Marion L. Alleman of
Parkersburg; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Silas
Rader and Jennings Rader; two sisters, Dale Barnes and Roselee Meyers; and
special friends, Gail and Pauline Gillespie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucia Pauline Rader; two brothers; and one
sister.
Services were held at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Mark
Watkins officiating. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Robert Lee Rader, 67, of Glenville, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002, at his home.
He is the son of Eulia Jarvis Rader of Mt. Zion and the late James Coy Rader. He
worked as a truck driver and construction worker and took early retirement from
Ace Pipeline Construction Co., Ortario, Calif.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Betty Lou Rader of Glenville;
two daughters, Debra Ann Schneck of Upland, Calif., and Launa Avenell Mead of
Klamoth Falls, Ore.; one son, Jeffrey Steven Rader of Pion Hills, Calif.; two
sisters, Judy Bowman and Jean Pitts, both of Grantsville; five brothers; Charles
Rader and Homer Rader, both of Ohio, Tom Rader of Annamoriah and Jim Rader and
Russ Rader, both of California; 13 grandchildren: and two great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Vasquez, and two sons, Robert
Allen Rader and Norman Charles McGirr.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Brian
Connaughton officiating.

Violet Jane "Midge" Cobb Rader, 65, of Elizabeth, died at home.
She was born at Clendenin, the daughter of the late John Jackson and Gertrude Florence Deel Cobb. She was retired from General Electric, Parkersburg.
Surviving are two sons, Clay Rader and his wife Kimberly and Scott Rader and his wife Violet, all of Annamoriah; four sisters, Maye Lipscomb of Pinch, Dolly Graley of Alum Creek and Faye Jarrett and Joyce Patton, both of Clendenin; three brothers, Paul Cobb, Johnny Cobb and Melton Cobb, all of Clendenin; a special friend, Herb Stevens of Clendenin; and four grandchildren, Sierra, Erica, Roman and Seth.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Warren Cobb.
Services were held at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with Pastor William M. Cottrell officiating. Burial was in Cobb Cemetery, Clendenin.

Leoda Isabelle L. Raines, 73, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at Dunbar.
She was born on Phillips Run, the daughter of the late Billie and Veta Hathaway Linville. She was a 1950 graduate of Calhoun County High School and a 1952 graduate of the Capping Class of Kanawha Valley Hospital. She had previously owned and operated Warren Village Cleaners and Laundromat, Warren, Ohio.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Robert "Speedy" Raines; two daughters, Linda Sue Frederick of Cortland, Ohio, and Caroline Barker of Warren, Ohio; one son, Robert A. Raines of Warren, Ohio; one brother, Hibbert Linville of Mineral Wells; one sister, Lizzie Mae Stout of Mt. Zion; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin C., William L. "Bub," and Howard Linville.
Services were held at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial was in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Hope Lawman Rampp, 94, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center.
She was born in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Albert and Clara Washburn Lawman. She was a member of Bridgeport United Methodist Church, Martha Circle and past president of United Methodist Women. She was a member of Homemakers Club, Governor Johnson Garden Club and Rachel Chapter #47, Order of Eastern Star, where she was a past worthy matron.
Surviving are two daughters, Helen Rampp Morris of Grantsville and Geraldine Hope Rampp of Mansfield, Ohio; one sister Letha Lawman Rapking of Madisonville, Tenn., 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Joseph Rampp, in 1976; three daughters, Marguerite Rampp Shriver, Virginia Rampp Murdoch and Jeanne Rampp Hart; and two brothers, Fred and Ersel Lawman.
Services were held at Bridgeport U.M. Church, with Rev. Steven E. Dorsey officiating. Burial was in Bridgeport Cemetery. Ford Funeral Home, Allen Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.

Rita Carter Ramsey, 51, of Rosedale, Gilmer County, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, in
Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division.
She was born in Braxton County, the daughter of the late Orville and Edith King
Carter. She was a licensed practical nurse at Heartwood of Charleston and at Braxton
County Health Care Center.
Surviving are one son, John Michael Carter of Rosedale; one daughter, Rachel Marie
Singleton of Frametown; four sisters, Carolyn Jackson of Beverly, Ohio, Betty Carson
of Buckhannon and Lois Carter and Janet Carter, both of Gassaway; and six brothers,
Jim Carter and Jerry Carter, both of Grafton, Ohio, Donald and Richard Carter, both
of Rosedale, Timmy Carter of Cleveland, Ohio, and Doug Carter of Clay.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m., at Rosedale United Methodist Church, with
Elder Mark Minney officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will
be one hour prior to services. Arrangements are by Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg.

Edward Bernard Ray, 73, of Smithville, died Thursday, Apr. 19, 2001, at his
residence.
He was born in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Theodore and Rhoda Campbell
Ray. At the age of 12, he won the Akron Marble Championship. He was a U.S.
Marine with service during the Korean War and worked as an electronic
technician for the U.S. government in Monmouth, N.J., before retirement. He
was a member of VFW Post 5959, Grantsville, W.Va. Farm Bureau, Calhoun
County Singers and Smithville Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Joan Young Ray; three sons, Theodore E.
Ray of Barnegat, N.J., Michael P. Ray of Parkersburg and Timothy R. Ray of
Shreveport, La.; one brother, Paul Ray of Bridgeton, N.J.; and nine
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Forest Ray, and one sister, Wanda
Barker.
Services were held at Smithville Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Mullen
officiating. Burial was in Westfall Cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late Okey and Annie Cunningham Shimer.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lloyd Reed, on Aug. 24, 1995; one grandson, David Reed; and three sisters, Clareth Wilson, Ollie Ford and Virginia Williams.

Rosa Belle Headley Reeves, 73, of Laurel, Miss., died Monday, Aug. 28, 2000,
at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lorena Headley of Creston. She
was a member of Eastern Star, a former school teacher in Wirt County, and ran
a taxi stand in Elizabeth in the 1950's.
Surviving are her husband, Clyde Reeves; three step-children; six step-
grandchildren; four sisters, Blanche Stutler and Bethel Stutler, both of
Barberton, Ohio, Bessie Arthur of Creston and Vera White of Oklahoma; and
two brothers, Bobbie Headley of Munday and Harold Headley of Marietta,
Ohio.
Services were held at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Laurel. Burial was in
Sharon Cemetery, Laurel.

School. He was a U.S. Army veteran with 15 years of service and a truck
driver. He attended First Baptist Church, Grantsville.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa Moore Reichard; one daughter, Krista Reichard,
and one son, Benjamin Reichard, both at home; his mother, Gladys M. (Bucky)
Ryan of Spencer; three brothers, Clifford Reichard of Newton, Randy Reichard

Reynolds Reichard of Spencer.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Vicky Reichard.

Olena Stump Remmy, 94, of Belpre, Ohio, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at the home of her caregiver, Janet Moss of Washington.
She was born in Calhoun County, the daughter of the late Dill and Myrtle Robinson Stump. She retired from FMC after 46 years of service. She was a member of Porterfield Baptist Church.
Surviving are three nephews, Forrest “Gene” Frazier and Fred Remmy, both of Arizona, and Ralph Frazier of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Waldo Remmy, and one sister, Ocie Frazier.
Services were held at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Rev. Mark Eaton officiating. Burial was in Rockland Cemetery.

ROBERT RENTSCHLER, JR.
Dr. Robert "Bob" Rentschler Jr., 59, of Berkeley Springs, died Sunday, June 15, 2008.
He was born in Pasadena, Calif., the son of the late Robert Vincent Rentschler, Sr., and Geneva Alice Shreve Rentschler.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served two combat tours in South Vietnam, 1968-1969. He later worked at the Pentagon investigating the My Lai Massacre. He graduated cum laude from Glenville State College in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, earned a master's degree in elementary administration and supervision from Frostburg State University in 1977, and a Ph.D. in education, curriculum and instruction from Walden University in 1994. He was principal of Warm Springs Intermediate School, Berkeley Springs. In his 33-year career in education, his experience included director of Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center for seven years.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Lea Rentschler, whom he married Apr. 17, 1987; two brothers, Charles F. Rentschler, Sr., of San Antonio, Tex., and Dr. Lawrence L. Rentschler of Swanton, Md.; three sisters, Geneva "Jeannie" R. Gallagher of Washington, Shirley E. Rentschler-Hull of Hagerstown, Md., and Maureen R. Sharps of Oakland, Md.; and 38 nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at Berkeley Baptist Church with Pastor George Hopkins officiating. Visitation was scheduled Wednesday, 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs, and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial with full military honors will be on Thursday, 2:30 p.m., at Memorial Gardens, Oakland, Md.

She was born in Calhoun County, the daughter of the late Charlie Homer and Ocie Mary
Gainer Hughes.
Surviving are three sons, Delford Reynolds of Norton, Ohio; and Dwayne Reynolds and
Olin Reynolds, both of Parkersburg; one daughter, Eva Stewart of Parkersburg; two
sisters, Fostine Bell and Ellen Starcher, both of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Debra Gard of Mineral Wells.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Jesse, Denzil, Mansel, Leo and Orval
Hughes; two sisters, Ethel Hughes and Dollie Miller; three grandchildren, Deborah,
Diane and Michael Dale Reynolds; and one great-grandson, Rickie Dale Stewart, Jr.

Jane Evelyn Starcher Rhodes, 88, of Parkersburg, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Calhoun County, the daughter of the late Charles and Annie Mace Starcher. She attended Wood County schools and helped teach children in a one-room school. She retired from St. Joseph's Hospital and was a member of the Women of the Moose, Parkersburg Chapter.
Surviving are one son, William David Rhodes of Parkersburg; six daughters, Yvonne Hoyt of Grafton, Ohio, Betty Gorby of Aurora, Ohio, and Phyliss Gainer, Becky Coss Caplinger, Nancy Dean and Angela Willison, with whom she made her home, all of Parkersburg; one special nephew, Martin Junior Tress of Elyria, Ohio; 30 grandchildren, three of whom she raised; 56 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service was held at Homeland Community Church, Parkersburg, with Rev. Brady Stephens officiating. Burial was in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens.

University Hospital, Columbus.
She was born in Ritchie County, the daughter of James F. "Frank" Collins of Radcliff,
Ohio, and the late Cleta Wilson Collins. She attended Roads Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a cook at Lee's Steakhouse, Wellston, for many years and was the former owner
of Pizza Peddler.
Surviving in addition to her father are her husband of 31 years, Paul "Ed" Rice; two
sons, Mike West of McArthur, Ohio, and Paul Rice of Wellston; two daughters, Robin
Mulhern and Kanna Caster, both of McArthur; two brothers, Harry Collins of Radcliff
and Frankie Collins of Jackson; one sister, Mama Butcher of Gahanna; eight
grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and four granddaughters.
Services were held at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, Wellston, with Rev. Dwight Tilley
officiating.

She was born at Chloe, the daughter of the late Dr. C.R. and Nannie Conley Lamb.
She had operated Dominion Hotel, Glove, Ariz., for a number of years as well as
Conley Grill and Wiseman's' Dept. Store, Gauley Bridge. She was a member of
Gauley Bridge Baptist Church, Ted H. Christian VFW Auxiliary, Gauley Bridge
Garden Club, and Gauley Bridge Historical Society.
Surviving are three sisters, Hazel Christian of Gauley Bridge, Locie Dye of
Chloe and Maysel Snyder of Scottsdale, Ariz..; two brothers, Creed Lamb of South
Charleston and Jim Lamb of St. Albans; and her caregivers, Kim Houghton and
Brenda Lanham of Gauley Bridge and Joshua Houghton of Martinsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Rice; three sisters, Ruby Finley,
Nell Downey and Gertrude Grogg; and one brother, Clifford Lamb.
Services were held at Pennington Funeral Home Chapel, Gauley Bridge, with Rev.
Joseph G. Law officiating. Burial was in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.

Elizabeth O'Connor Richard, 77, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, at her home in Rosedale.
She was born in Derby, Conn., the daughter of the late James and Clara Pepe O'Connor. She graduated from Derby High School and Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing, and received a B.S.N. from The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., and an M.S.N. from Yale University. After two years in the Army Nurse Corps, she was a nurse in Connecticut, New York, Washington and Maryland, and taught nursing at University of Connecticut, University of Maine and Glenville State College. She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Glenville.
Surviving are two children, Rita Richard of Rosedale, with whom she resided, and Major Marty Richard of Sandwich, Mass.; two sisters, Kathleen Burgess of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Mary Cink of Tequesta, Fla.; one brother, Miles O'Connor of Tequesta, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo F. Richard, who died May 12, 1989, and one sister, Carol Ginnetti.
Services were held at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, with Father Edwin Daschbach, SVD, officiating. Burial was in Maine Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Augusta, beside her late husband.

He had worked in the oilfields and retired from Sav-A-Tool. He was a member of Norman Ridge Fairview United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Dorothy Louise Richards; two sons, Billy Joe and Darrell Richards; two daughters, Patricia Richards and Angela Dye; two grandchildren, Elijah and Aleah Dye; four sisters, Loraine Pursley, Isabelle Davis, Hazel Gribble and Margaret Wagoner; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two infant children, Carl Ray and Sherry Ann Richards; nine sisters, Rosalea Davis, Goldie L. Richards, Clara B. Richards, Irene B. Richards, Pauline Jones, Yetta Webb, Thressie Graham, Hettie Beatty and Alice Richards; and five brothers, Mack Richards, Jr., Shirdie Richards, Bernard Richards, Desmoin Richards and Denver Richards.

Corinne L. Richards, 88, of Parkersburg, died at her residence.
She was born in Arnoldsburg, the daughter of the late Rev. Chenoweth and Gladys Lynch Stalnaker.
She was a professional country/western singer in the 1930's, performing with a friend as Corene and Lorene - The Gingham Girls, broadcasting on radio in the Clarksburg-Fairmont area and making personal appearances. She played guitar, banjo, mandolin and bass fiddle. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Williamstown.
Surviving are one daughter, Linda Tewksbury of Parkersburg; one son, Steven Richards of Washington; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Herbert (Bud) Stalnaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Richards; two brothers, W. Arl Stalnaker and Chenoweth Stalnaker; and four sisters, Erin Taggart, Genevieve Miller, Marjorie Leary and Evelyn Lemon.
Services were held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Rev. John K. Jordan officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg.

Cantwell Taylor. She had retired as a cook for Napolis Pizza, Belpre, Ohio. She
had attended Barlow Church of God of Prophecy and Full Gospel Temple, Little
Hocking, and was a member of Grey Toppers Senior Citizens, Vincent, and Layman
Homemakers Club.
Surviving are one son, Frank Richards of Vincent; five daughters, Lenora Johnson
of Edgemoor, S.C., Patty Cunningham of Coolville, Ohio, Naomi McGraw and Carrie
Settlage, both of Vincent, and Sherry McDonald of New Smyrna, Fla.; 10
grandchildren; five step-granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren; and one
sister, Emma Wagoner of Big Bend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Richards, Dec. 31, 1969; one
son, Dewey Dewayne Richards; one granddaughter; five bothers; and six sisters.
Services will be held Thursday, 10 a.m., at Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples
Funeral Home, with Pastor Hazel Life officiating. Burial will be in Taylor
Cemetery, Calhoun County, at approximately 12:30 p.m., with her nephew Rev.
Harvey Wagoner officiating. Visitation was scheduled Wednesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and
6 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made .to the American Diabetes Association.

She worked at Rubber Fabricators, Grantsville, 1960-1966, and as a seamstress for Economy Industries, Harrisville, for 26 years. She was a past noble grand of Hope Rebekah Lodge No. 30, Harrisville, and a member of VFW Post 5959 Auxiliary, Grantsville.
Surviving are three sons, David A. Richards of Concord, N.C., and Nile Richards and Lonnie R. Richards, both of Harris-ville; four daughters, Barbara Jo Wilson of Big Bend, Susie Butcher of Weston, Sheila Mason of Cairo and Lila Grinter of Parkersburg; one foster daughter, Kathy Greathouse of Parkers-burg; 26 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Richards, and one half-brother, Harold Rollins.
Services were held at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, with Pastor Ron Blevins officiating. Burial was in Harrisville IOOF Cemetery.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Hubert H. Richards, Sr.; one son, Hubert H.
"Rich" Richards, Jr., of Vienna; two brothers, Frankie and Fields Starcher, both of
Orma; two sisters, Amanda Stonebreaker of Youngstown, Ohio, and Myrtle Hupp of
Valley Mills; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and her stepmother, Hattie

Graydon Mack Richards, 93, of Rt. 5, Glenville, died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at
United Hospital Center, Clarksburg.
He was born at Chestnut Lick, Lockney, Gilmer County, the son of Norman Eckes
and Amanda Jane Meadows Richards. He worked in farming and timbering and on the
B&O Railroad before joining United Fuel Gas Co. of Columbia Gas System, retiring
in 1972 with 24 years of service. He was active in the Methodist church and had
served as Sunday School superintendent at Cherry Valley Church, Roane County,
and Otterbein Church, Gilmer County.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Thelma Leah Yoak Richards of Sand Ridge;
four sons, Dr. Graydon Edward of Marshall, Mo., Eugene Carl of Ravenswood,
Harold Vandale of Spencer and Herbert Charles of New Haven; two daughters, Mary
Ann Bishop of Grandview and Kathryn Lea Black of Buckhannon; 14 grandchildren;
13 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters and was the last
surviving member of his immediate family.
Services were held at Otterbein Methodist Church, Glenville, with Rev. James
Epling and Rev. Roy Wiant officiating. Burial was in Meadows Cemetery,
Normantown.

Harley Hugh "Hughie" Richards, 85, of Parkersburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at
Worthington Manor.
He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late Martin and Osa Collins Richards.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was a member of 19th Street Church of
God, Parkersburg, and retired from Union Carbide Metals.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Irene Pearl Doss Richards; two sons, Larry H.
Richards and Jeff W. Richards, both of Parkersburg; three daughters, Dora L. Daley of
Parkersburg, Linda L. Dailey of Thompson Station, Tenn., and Beverly Sprouse of
Spring Hill, Tenn.; four sisters, Bernadine Ball of Waverly, Dorothy Dailey and
Barbara Dailey, both of Parkersburg, and Lucille Hungate of Vienna; 14 grandchildren;
and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lemuel Richards and William Richards, and
one sister, Beulah Mahoney.
Services were held at 19th Street Church of God, with Rev. David Meadows
officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg.

Harold Richards, 92, of Belpre, Ohio, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008.
He was born in Big Springs, the son of the late Joseph W. Richards and Nora Cunningham Richards.
He retired from the U.S. Army as a CW3, Chief Warrant Officer, after 30 years of service. He attended Calvary Community Church.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Marjorie Fraser Richards; two daughters, Rita Lubinski of North Ridgeville, Ohio, and Mary VanMeter of Belpre; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Dorsey Richards, and a life-long friend, Edward Hammer.
Graveside services were held at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Ken Fullerton officiating, and full military honors.

He grew up in Calhoun County, the son of the late Russell and Blanche Richards. He worked for several years in the Warren, Ohio, area, and was active in Grantsville and Elizabeth senior citizens.
Surviving are one sister, Juanita Stiffler of Canton, Ohio; two nieces; and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Steve Richards, and two sisters, Geraldine Springston and Violet Douglas.
Graveside services were held at Maze Cemetery, Calhoun County.

Hubert H. Richards Sr., 87, of Vienna and a past resident of Arlington Personal
Care of Parkersburg, departed this life on Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Parkersburg.
Mr. Richards was born on April 11, 1920, at Cornwallis in Ritchie County, W.Va. to
the late Arthur and Minnie Carpenter Richards. Early in his working career, he held
employment in the oil and gas industry and retired from the Baltimore and Ohio
Railroad as a brakeman. He was a veteran of World War II with service in central
Europe and was a holder of the coveted Combat Infantryman's Badge. He was a member
of Cairo Masonic Lodge 114, Cairo, and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 50 of
New Martinsville. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church at Vienna.
He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Dixie Richards of Vienna; sister, Louise
Richards of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Gregory Richards and Sherry Warner and
husband, Bill and a great granddaughter, Ashley Warner.
Mr. Richards was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Grace E. Starcher Richards;
sons, Russell "Deak" Richards and Hubert H. "Rich" Richards Jr.; and brothers, Les,
Clyde, and Dale Richards.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the McCollough-Rogers Funeral Home,
Pennsboro, with the Rev. H. Earle Arthur and the Rev. Norman Butler officiating.
Interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Ellenboro. Friends may call from

He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late Arthur and Minnie Bennett

formerly employed with J.L. Steel mill, Cleveland, Ohio, as a furnace operator,
Kaiser Nelson Demolition Co., Cleveland, as a demolition expert, and R.J. Bob
Jones Construction Co., Arkansas, as a heavy equipment operator.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Shultz Richards; four sons, Ronnie Kerns of
Arizona, William "Billy" Kerns of Beckley, Danny Kerns of Florida and James E.
Richards, Jr., of Parkersburg; five daughters, Lynn and Darlene Richards, both
of Morgantown, Karen Kitchen of Virginia, Sandra Bonnefond of Maryland and

She was born in Ritchie County and was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Ada McCormick Richards; one son,
Leo David Richards of Big Bend; one daughter, Emily Husk of Big Bend; two brothers,
Marshall of Weirton and Gerald of East Lake, Ohio; five sisters, Grace Wagoner,

Steve Richards, 55, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, in Zambia, Africa.
He was the son of Mestil Richards and the late Robert “Bud” Richards of Harrisville. He graduated from Harrisville High School in 1967, Glenville State College in 1970, and Massillon Baptist College in 1987.
He worked for Westvaco Corp. for 14 years and at Camp of The Hills, Procious, for three years. He founded and pastored Calvary Baptist Church, Harrisville (now Southside Baptist Church). He was involved in numerous mission projects, including two years in India with Priority One India and three years in Zambia with Baptist International Outreach.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Linda Richards; one son, Kevin of Adrian, Mich.; one daughter, Julie Seagraves of Ashford; two brothers, Larry Richards of Walker and Ray Richards of Portsmouth, Va.; his grandmother, Lola Kirby of Big Springs; and three grandchildren.
A celebration of his life was held in Livingston, Zambia, with burial in Livingston. Memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, 2 p.m., at Clay First Baptist Church, Clay.

Thelma Leah Yoak Richards, 95, of Buckhannon, died Wednesday, Mar. 21, 2007, at United Hospital, Clarksburg.
She was born at Apple Farm, the daughter of the late Loyd and Mary Adams Yoak. After her early years in Calhoun and a 17-year stay in Roane, she spent most her life in Gilmer, and resided with a daughter in Buckhannon since 2004. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Glenville, and Gilmer County Senior Citizens where she read to residents at a local nursing home. She cooked for the elementary school hot lunch program at Shock, Gilmer County, and Morning Star, Roane County, and worked at Conrad Hotel, Glenville.
Surviving are four sons, Dr. Graydon Edward of Marshall, Mo., Eugene Carl of Ravenswood; Harold of Spencer and Herbert Charles of New Haven; two daughters, Mary Ann Bishop of Cool Ridge and Kathryn Lea Black of Buckhannon; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and two brothers, Bernard and Victor Yoak, both of Ripley.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Graydon Mack Richards, on July 26, 2001; three sisters, Wilma Hersman, Etna Altizer and Ruth Hardman; and two brothers, Lloyd, Jr., and Vere Yoak.
Services were held at Otterbein U.M. Church, with Rev. Hugh Murphy officiating

She was the daughter of Goodson Nettles, a pioneer settler. She was affiliated

Surviving are her husband of 38 years, James R. Richardson, and four children.
She was preceded in death by three children.

John G. Riddle, Jr. 76, died Monday, June 24, 2002, in Fisher Titus Medical
Center.
He was born at Mt. Zion, the son of the late John G. and Rose Howard Riddel, Sr.
He was a Spc. Seaman in the U.S. Navy and was a lifetime member of American
Legion Post 547, Monroeville. He was a machinist at Magic Chef.
Surviving are one son, Clayton Riddel of Maumee; one daughter, Darlene Timbs of
Lawton, Okla.; two sisters, Eleanor "Dink" Duskey and husband Charles of Mt.
Zion and Lorain "Brook" Rogers of Grantsville; two brothers, Jim Riddel of
Vienna, Va., and Gene Riddel of Glendale, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. Riddel, Mar. 13, 2002; one son,
John Riddel; four sisters, Nina Farrell, Opal Riddel, Jeanette Robinson and
Thelma Deal; and one brother, Howard Riddel.
Memorial service was held at Restlawn Memorial Park Chapel, Huron, with military

Health Care Center, Grantsville.
She was born in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Howard and Columbia
Josephine Miller Cox. She was a retired elementary school teacher in Calhoun County
with 29 years of service. She was a graduate of Glenville State College and was a
former member of Order of Easter Star, Grantsville, and a member of Knotts Memorial
United Methodist Church, Grantsville.
Surviving are one daughter, Judy Starcher of Grantsville; one son, Robert Riddel of
Mt. Zion; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Riddel, in 1984.
Services will be held Friday, 2 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev.
Mary Zimmer officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, near Grantsville.
Visitation is scheduled Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Born July 19, in Grantsville, W. Va., Mr. Riddle lived in Aurora for the past 19 years.
He is survived by his wife, Vina; daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Gallagher of Stow, Mrs. Nick Jeffery of Kent, Mrs. Paul Galido of Willowick, Mrs. Hank Elrod of Euclid, and Mrs. Herman Ball or Portsmouth, Ohio; son, Eldon of Aurora; sister, Mrs. Almeda Cole of Ravenna; brother, William D. Riddle of Cleveland; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Wheeler Funeral Home in Mantua, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Randall Poe will conduct services Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua.

Augusta Riddle, 90, died Friday, July 18, 2008.
She was born in Stumptown, the daughter of the late Judson E. and Naoma Stump Riddle.
During World War II, she worked for Goodyear Aircraft installing windscreens for Corsair airplanes. She retired from Eaton Corp., Copley, Ohio, where she lived for many years. She had attended First Baptist Church, St. Marys.
Surviving are two sisters, Stella Reed and Pauline Riddle Gainer, and two brothers, Arden and Paul Riddle.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Alpha Riddle, and one sister, Geniva Riddle Conrad.
There were no services. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron, Ohio.

H. Eugene "Gene" Riddle, 68, of Pennsboro, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at his residence.
He was born near Tanner, the son of the late William A. "Bud" and Florence M. Richards Riddle.
He was a graduate of Tanner High School and retired from Cytec's Willow Island plant in 1995 with 30 years of service. He attended Church of Christ in Harrisville and Pennsboro.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Joan Diane Gregg Riddle; three sons, Gregory, Mark and Jason Riddle, all of Pennsboro; one daughter, Stacy McDonald of Cairo; three brothers, Alonzo Junior Riddle of Grafton, Ohio, and Hoy and Harold Riddle, both of Elyria, Ohio; one sister, Bernice Tallhamer of Grantsville; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.

Donald A. Riddle, Sr., 59, of Morgantown, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at his home.
He was born in Annapolis, Md., the son of the late Donald and Pearl Gardner Riddle. He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was employed as a mason.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Schoolcraft Riddle; two daughters, Paula Riddle of Westover and Lea Riddle of Morgantown; two sons, Donald Riddle, Jr., of Hollywood, Md., and David Riddle of Westover; two sisters, Donna Carr and Patsy Workman; four, brothers, James Riddle, Robert Riddle, Mike Riddle and Wayne Riddle; and 12 grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and had previously worked for Faultless Rubber Co. and C.E. Ward Co. She was a former member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, New Philadelphia, Ohio, Christ United Methodist Church, Loyal Workers Sunday School Class and Builders Group, Ashland, and a member of Vermillion Baptist Church and Joy 2 Adult Sunday School Class, Perrysville, Ohio, and Red Hat Society.
Surviving are three daughters, Manoka Hassinger and Lenore Reich, both of Ashland, and Myrna Edie of Greenfield, Ind.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eleanor Mohrman of Lakeland, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Alpha G. Riddle, on Aug. 14, 1998; three sisters, Pearl Fowler, Zee Stout and Maxine Beall Walker; and one brother, Lee Roberts.

He was born at Parsons, the son of the late Vernon and Jesse Watkins Rightmire. He was a 1933 graduate of Parsons High School and retired in 1970 from W.Va. State Police as a Corporal with 28 years of service, including some in Calhoun County. He was a member of W.Va. State Police Retired Members Association, Fraternal Order of Police and Parsons Lions Club, and had attended Parsons Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Margaret Faye Taylor Rightmire; one son, James Robert "Bob" Rightmire II of York, Pa.; one daughter, Jo Ann.Rightmire of La Plata, Md.; and one sister, Dorothy Paugh of Baker.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Rightmire, and one sister, Ruth Tamurini.

She was born in Arnoldsburg, the daughter of the late Gladys Lynch Stalnaker and the late Rev. Chenoweth Stalnaker. She worked in a defense plant in Akron, Ohio, during World War II, and later for Johns Mansville, Vienna, and as a part-time beautician in her own shop.
Surviving are one sister, Connie Richards; one brother, H.C. (Bud) Stalnaker; several nieces and nephews; and one favorite great-nephew, Joshua Forinash.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold E. Lemon; her second husband, Raymond Riley; three sisters, Erin Taggart, Marjorie Leary and Geniveve Pechis; and two brothers, William A. Stalnaker and Chenoweth A. Stalnaker.

his home.
He was born in Lewis County, the son of the late Eric K. and Winona Harris Rinehart.
He was a 1951 graduate of Jane Lew High School and attended Fairmont State College.
He retired from Consolidated Gas as superintendent in February, 1992, with 40
years of service. He was a member of Hobert Beeghley Bible Class and Broad Run
Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Virginia Rothlishburger, whom he married June 27, 1952;
five sons, William D. "Billy" and James D "Jimmy" Rinehart, both of Jane Lew, Joseph
C. "Joey" and Robert S. "Bobby" Rinehart, both of Weston, and Thomas K. "Tommy"
Rinehart of Grantsville; two daughters, Mary E. "Betsy" McCormick of Grantsville, and

He was born in Rocksdale, W.Va. to Daniel D. and Ilda Wagner Roach. He was a U.S. Navy veterean of WW II and was employed by Firestone Rubber Co.
He is survived by two daughters Pamela Carneal of West Mifflin, Pa. and Kimberly Roach of California, one grandson, Tommy Carneal of West Mifflin; one sister, Edith Sampson of Little Hocking.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The body was cremated.
Memorial services were to be at noon today at Strissler Funeral Home in West Mifflin, Pa.

She was born Jan 12, 1940 at Parkersburg to Donald and Eileen Wilcoxen and had lived in this area all her life. She had attended Word of Faith Church at Belpre and was a Girl Scout leader in the Black Diamond Council.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 30 years, Willard W. Roach; two sons, Willard Mark Roach of Little Hocking and Spec 4 Joseph Arthur Roach of Fort Irwin, Calif.; two daughters Anita Eileen Roach Hale of Barlow and Alicia Nell Roach at home; four grandchildren; her grandmother, Mrs. Neil Bradley of Belpre; two sisters, Donna Sue Kesterson of Monument, Colo., and Regina Eileen Buchanan of Little Hocking; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was born in Calhoun County, W.Va., on Sept. 27, 1938, and was the son of the late Kenna W. and Thelma Sampson Roach. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and retired as a truck driver from the Consolidated Freight. He was a veteran of the Army and served in Alaska.

Austin L. Roberts of Cleveland, died June 5, 1960, in Cleveland, as the result
of a fall down the basement stairs of his home there. He survived 28 days, but
never came out of a coma.
He was born in Grantsville, the son of Tunis Roberts and the late Mrs. Roberts.
He was a veteran of World War IL spending two years overseas. He had resided in
Cleveland for 10 years.
Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Geneva Roberts: five children,
Opal Genice, Bobby, Sharon, Danny and Mary Catherine; and 12 brothers and
sisters, Loren, Lester, Lane, Lowell, Lynolis, Lonnie, Lucille, Luvon, Lila,
Luvell, Letha and Loretta.
Services were held in Cleveland at Brookridge Missionary Church. Burial was in
West Pork Cemetery.

Hospital, Clarksburg.
He was born in Rosedale, the son of the late Dr. Luther E. Roberts and Mamie
Stump Roberts. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Stumptown and was
retired from the W.Va. Dept. of Human Services. He was a Navy veteran and
received a commendation for saving the steamship James Buchanan when ammunition
began exploding on the docks at Noumea, New Caledonia in the South Pacific
during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Myrtle McCartney Roberts; two sons, Patrick of Sutton
and Garland of Belleville; four daughters, Susan Bennett of Craigsville, Sharon
Wiseman of Washington, Sandra Rentschler of Grantsville and Jill Roberts of
Tucson, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren, Derek and Kami Bennett, Kristy Langley, Kara
and Lynsey Wiseman, Melissa, Waylan, Jesse, Zachary and Shannon Roberts; and

Born July 27, 1930, in Grantsville, W.Va., he was the son of Harry L. and Della Bertha (Wease) Roberts. He lived in Windham for 50 years.
Mr. Roberts was a welder with Rockwell Bumper in Newton Falls for 26 years. He later retired from R. J. Filmco in Aurora. He spent his life farming.
He was a member of the Windham United Methodist Church.
Mr. Roberts was U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the American Bowling Congress and the Farm Bureau.
Mr. Roberts enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
Survivors include his wife, Frances (Houck); sons Donald R. (Donna) and David (Cheryl) of Ravenna: and Douglas of Nelson; daughter, Dianna Roberts of Ravenna; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sisters, Gladolia Anderson of Parkersburg, W. Va., and Leona Heiney of Grantsville, W. Va. His brothers, Haven, Harry, and Roy, died previously.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Virginia Metz of Grantsville and Genevieve Davis of Nobe; three sons, Randolph and Melvin Robinson, both of Nobe, and Terry Robinson of Parkers-burg; five sisters, Betty Husk of Buckhannon, Edith Cogar of Ohio, Caroline Gardner of Morgantown, Bernice Cox of Youngstown, Ohio, and Hester Curry of Mt. Zion; and two brothers, Bob Kight of Akron, Ohio, and Mike Kight of Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Waitman Robinson; one daughter, Lorraine Robinson; two brothers, Walter and Charlie Kight; and one granddaughter, Charlene Shuman.
Services were held at Chapel Baptist Church, Nobe, with Rev. Lorous Roberts officiating. Burial was in Nobe Cemetery.

Jerry D. "Squeek" Robinson, 66, of Tanner, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.
He was born at Tanner, the son of the late Opal Robinson Bee, and was raised by his grandparents, the late Harry and Mary Anna Deem Robinson. He worked in the oil and gas business. He had owned Jerry's Auto Parts, Glenville, and Robinson and Son Drilling Co., and had been a drilling and production supervisor for Royal Oil and Gas, Waco Oil & Gas and Ashland Oil & Gas, and retired from Key Oil & Gas. He was a member of Gilmer County Masonic Lodge and was a Protestant.
Surviving are his wife, Beulah Marie Frashure Robinson, whom he married June 28, 1958; three daughters, Debra Lynn Adams of Troy, Kimberly Ann McCormick of Parkersburg and Beverly Kay Butcher of Jane Lew; one son, Jerry Dean Robinson II of Jane Lew; five grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Pritt of Canton, Ohio, and Sandra Stalnaker of Glenville; and one brother, Terry Bee of Glenville.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Hardman, and one sister, Judith Cain.
Services were held at Ellyson Mortuary, Glenville, with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial was in Rock Grove Cemetery, Linn

ROBERT ROBINSON
Robert R. Robinson, 79, of Tanner, died Friday, Apr. 11, 2003, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born on Frozen Run, the son of the late Gray and Holly Bailey Robinson. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving under Gen. George Patton and participating in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from General Motors in 1978.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Emogene "Jean" Newell Robinson; one daughter, Bobbi Jean Moss of Palestine; two granddaughters, Marcie Benslay of Ft. Bragg, N.C., and Mistie Davis of Morgantown; one great-grandson, Logan McBride Benslay; and one sister, Geneva Lawson of Arnoldsburg.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Evangelist Corley Miller officiating. Burial was in Orma Cemetery.

RUBY ROBINSON
Ruby Grace Robinson, 94, of Vienna, died Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at
Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Calhoun County, the daughter of the late Henry and Rena
Greathouse Duncan. She was a member of Vienna Baptist Church for over 50
years and active with Win-A-Couple Sunday School class. She held two
offices in the Women's Mission Society, organized Mariam Morning Circle, and
served as one of the first deaconesses. She had been a den mother for Cub
Scouts.
Surviving are one son, Emett L. Robinson of Vienna; one brother, Roy Duncan
of California; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces,
nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Robinson, in 1979; one
son, Kenneth E. Robinson, in 1971; and one sister, Tressie Richards, in
1990.
Services were held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Rev. Nathan
Williams officiating. Burial was in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens.

She was head manager of Grantsville Foodland and a member of Calvary Baptist
Church, Glenville.
Surviving are her mother, Rosetta Rogers of Grantsville; her birth father,
Robert Rogers of Akron, Ohio; two brothers, Phillip Rogers of Grantsville and
Bobby Rogers of Akron; two sisters, Jessica Rogers and Becky Rogers, both of
Akron; aunts, Ginger Smith of Grantsville and Shirly Langford of Weston;
cousins, Randy Smith of Grantsville and Jim Vannoy of Weston; one nephew; two
nieces; and her fiancée, Chad Cunningham of Grantsville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Shirley R. (Roy) Rogers.
Services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with
Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation was scheduled Wednesday, 6 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.

He was born at Arcola, Webster County, the son of the late Kenneth and Jane Rogers.
He was retired from Aluminum Smelting Corp., Painesville, Ohio.
Surviving are four sons, Arlen Rogers, Jr., of Cleveland, Ohio, Jim Rogers of Medina,
Ohio, Keith Rogers of Brunswick, Ohio, and Ray Rogers of Burnsville; two daughters,
Judy Rogers of Cleveland and Maxine Eschelbacher of Akron, Ohio; two brothers,
Norval Rogers of Painesville and Rome Rogers of Morgantown; four sisters, Mina
Dobbins of Frametown, Betty Radabaugh and Ellen Burdette, both of Parkersburg, and
Etta Radabaugh of Flatwoods; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter and three brothers.

an accident.
He was born in Clay County, the son of the late Gilbert A. and Etta Copen Rogers. He
was employed by Spencer Veneering Co.
Surviving are three sons, Charles Rogers, Jr., of Huttonsville, Joshua Rogers of
Spencer and Jeromy of Creston, Ohio; three brothers, Melton Ater of Nebo, Ray Rogers
of Left Hand and Jerry Rogers of Wadsworth, Ohio; and four sisters, Anna Jean
Mollohan of Nebo, Gertrude Workman of Rittman, Ohio, Janet Rogers of Sterling, Ohio,
and Geneva Anderson of Grantsville.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev.
Leon Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Moore Fork Cemetery, Ivydale.
Visitation at the funeral home is one hour prior to services.

Surviving in addition to her mother are four sisters, Virginia Bower of Davisville, Ruby Harkness of Parkersburg, Pamela Garrett of Mt. Zion, and Jo Ann Rogers of Grantsville; three brothers, Darrell Rogers of North Benton, Ohio, Delmas Rogers of Big Springs, and Franklin Rogers of Grantsville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil C. Rogers in 1995.
