I could not find a death record, will, or cemetery for Thomas William Brown in Marshall Co., WV. I found a Thomas Brown, age 72, born in PA listed as a patient in 1870 at the Weston Hospital for the Insane. I do not know if this is our Thomas or not. This person is the right age and right birth location. I found this on the 1870 WV Census, Lewis Co., Weston, Pg. 389.
Remember, that in the old days, if someone had something like dementia or Alzheimer's, they were put in asylums. I don't know how to prove this is our Thomas.

OBIT:
ROBERT G. ROSENBARGER
Newspaper source unknown.
Robert G. Rosenbarger died at his home in Moundsville at 3 o'clock p.m. Thursday, April 12, 1917, aged 94 years 6 months. Death was due to infirmities of old age.
He was a most highly esteemed citizen and until about a year and a half ago had lived in the neighborhood of Wolf Run and Pleasant Valley, when he moved to Moundsville.
He was a member of the Christian church and had been a faithful member for over sixty years and enjoyed the esteem of all with whom he came in contact. He was a good neighbor, a kind father and husband, and always had a kind word for every one.
Mr. Rosenbarger was united in marriage to Miss Sarah Brown, who proceded him to the grave several years ago. Of this union there are left to mourn, two daughters, Mrs. Emma Robinson and Mrs. Martha Allen, and one son, Thomas Rosenbarger. About 23 years ago he was united in marriage to Mrs. Ellen Conner, who survives him.
For the past fifteen months he had been confined to his bed, and during that time his wife gave him the most untiring care, for she of all others must be at hand to minister to his wants and needs and watch by his side.
He was a devoted husband, a good man, and was appreciated by his friends and neighbors, who were many because he was friendly and neighborly.
On April 14 short services were held at the home after which relatives and friends drove to the Limestone Church where services were conducted by Rev. C. W. Fuller, Sr. Interment in Limestone Cemetery.

The allotted time for man,
Three score years and ten
And by reason of strength you can
Add one ten to just a few men.

Notes for WILLIAM WODTLY:
William worked at a rubber factory, at Ohio Edison Company as a mechanic, and was an Akron Policeman. William was killed in an alley by a hit-skip driver. According to the Akron Police Report, the accident occurred on October 17, 1943, 8:30 PM, on German Alley. The report does not list the make and model of the car that struck him. A total of 5 officers investigated this accident. It is my understanding the driver was never caught or, if he was, it was never disclosed. There were rumors it was a grudge killing, possibly someone William had arrested
before.
