OBITUARY
Stoy, Frank H., 84, of Wheeling, WV, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling.
He was born on November 25, 1919, in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late Frank H. and Agnes Kuehn Stoy. He was a retired electrician with I.B.E.W. Local No.141 of Wheeling. Mr. Stoy was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps in WWII, having served in the China-Burma-India Theater. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Mt. Olivet, Wheeling, the Wheeling Lodge No. 5 A.F. & A.M., a 50 year member of the El Tor Grotto, and a member of the Osiris Shrine, Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George B. Stoy.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 61 years, Betty Lou Stoy; a son, Frank H. Stoy III and his wife, Mary, of Washington, PA; a daughter, Emilie S. Fusco and her husband, Vince, of Mt. Olivet; five grandchildren, Jeffrey K. Rogerson and his wife, Linda, of Mozart, Wheeling, Tina M. Tordella and her husband, Michael, of Mt. Olivet, James A. Rogerson, and his wife, Chrisi, of Granville, OH, Frank H. Stoy, IV, and Braden T. Stoy, both of Washington, PA; eight great-grandchildren.
Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger St., Wheeling. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 4, 2004 at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, with Rev. Linda M. Glass officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The Moundsville Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military graveside services.
