SMITH, Laura, daughter of A. C. Smith of Hebron, employed as a nurse in Cleveland, died of pneumonia March 26 and was brought home for interment in the Hebron cemetery on Saturday, March 29.
Laura is buried at Smith (May) Cemetery, Pleasants County, West Virginia. She was a descendant of James H. Smith, who served in Company G, 14th W. Va. Infantry during the Civil. James "died of Fever at Cumberland, MD, 20 Feb 1863."
