OBITUARY - DEATH CLAIMS VETERAN NURSE - Miss Della Parks, 60, died suddenly at her home on Fifth street at 4:15 o'clock Monday afternoon. A heart attack brought her death before medical aid could be summoned. - Miss Parks, a native of Marshall county, devoted 35 years of her life to service as a trained nurse. She was born on Fork Ridge and spent her entire life in this county. She was a member of the Fork Ridge Baptist church. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Thomas D. Richmond, of Fairview; Miss Meta E. Parks, of Fairview; Mrs. High Harris, of Cameron, and a brother, J. R. Parks, of Fork Ridge. Thirteen nephews and eleven nieces also survive. - The body was removed to the Lutes mortuary on Second street. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
