Carrolus J. & Jane (Wells) Barnhart established this family cemetery. Carrollus, the son of Henry and Phoebe (Jones) Barnhart, was born in Washington Co., Ohio. His wife Jane was the daughter of Henry and Mary (Bailey) Wells. They were married on December 30, 1847 in Tyler Co.
