Andrew1 CRONIN, son of Michael CRONIN and Priscillah PULLEY, was born in Wayne twp., Monroe Co. Ohio December 17, 1824. Andrew died June 15, 1902 in Pleasants Co. West Virginia, at 77 years of age. He married Rebecca KINKADE in Wayne twp. Monroe Co. Ohio, December 10, 1846. Rebecca was born December 25, 1825. Rebecca was the daughter of Andrew KINKADE and Anne Squire TINGLEY. Rebecca died July 7, 1906 at 80 years of age. After Andrew and his wife Rebecca were married they had lived briefly in Monroe and Washington Co's Ohio, and Brown Co. Indiana, before migrating and settling in Pleasants Co. WV, in 1875, near the town of St. Mary's. Andrew's principal occupation was farming and building farm wagons. With his sons Andrew constructed a large home in the McKim district. The land upon which Andrew constructed his home was located on the boundry road separtating the counties of Pleasants and Ritchie. Both Andrew and his wife are buried in Cronin Cemetary, which adjoins the Cronin farm. Andrew CRONIN and Rebecca KINKADE had the following children: + 2 i. Huldah CRONIN was born March 22, 1857. + 7 vi. Matthias (Tice) CRONIN was born October 23, 1859. + 8 vii. David CRONIN was born March 11, 1862. + 9 viii.Jonathan Beatty CRONIN was born June 5, 1866. + 10 ix. Andrew Warren CRONIN was born January 25, 1869. Second Generation 2. Michael2 CRONIN (Andrew1) was born in Monroe Co. Ohio January 16, 1848. Michael died July 31, 1914 at 66 years of age. He married twice. He married Rebecca Ann PRATT Rebecca was born in Ohio May 31, 1852. Rebecca was the daughter of Phillip W PRATT and Maryann MCPEEK. . He married Louisa Isophene HUGHS. Louisa was born 1862. Michael and Rebecca are buried at Hornet's Nest Cem. Ritchie Co. WV. Michael CRONIN and Rebecca Ann PRATT had the following children: 11 i. Andrew Warren3 CRONIN was born 1872 in Pleasants Co. WV. He died Nov. 3, 1961 and is buried in Ingram Ridge Cem. Pleasants Co. WV. 12 ii. Sarah Rebecca CRONIN was born February 15, 1871 in Pleasants Co. WV. She married Richard Rinard May 31, 1891 in Pleasants Co. WV. 13 iii. Maryann CRONIN was born May 25, 1875 in Pleasants Co. WV. She married William Brown Nov. 25, 1894 in Pleasants Co. WV. She died Nov. 15, 1965 in Pleasants Co. and is buried in Ingram Ridge Cem. 3. John CRONIN (Andrew) was born March 28, 1850 Monroe Co. Ohio. He died August 20, 1921 in Pleasants Co. WV and is buried in Nine Mile Cem. Pleasants Co. He married Mary Jane POYNTER John CRONIN and Mary Jane POYNTER had the following children: 14 i Iva CRONIN was born January 31, 1879 in Pleasants Co. WV. He married Olin Joy. 15 ii Asa CRONIN was born September 25, 1881 in Pleasants Co. WV. and died February 14 1904 in Pleasants Co. WV. He is buried at Nine Mile Cem. Pleasants Co. 16 iii Sarah CRONIN was born October 23, 1888 Pleasants Co. WV. She died October 26, 1964 in Pleasants Co. WV, She is buried at Brush Run Cem. Pleasants Co. Sarah married Alfred Hanlin March 30, 1906 and 2nd Asa Nichols. 4. Ann2 CRONIN (Andrew1) was born July 29, 1852 in Indiana. Ann died June 28, 1923 at 70 years of age,.in Eagleville, Ashtabula Co. Ohio. Ann is buried in Eagleville Cem. Austinburg twp. Ashtabula Co. Ohio. She married Samuel Wilson PRATT in Pleasants Co. West Virginia, December 11, 1877. Samuel was born September 6, 1857. Samuel was the son of Phillip W PRATT and Maryann MCPEEK. Samuel died January 22, 1940 at 82 years of age in Cleveland, Ohio. (See Pratt Family for children) 5. Daniel2 CRONIN (Andrew1) was born December 16, 1854 in Monroe Co. Ohio. Daniel died July 9, 1916 at 61 years of age in Pleasants Co. WV. He is buried in Cronin Cem. Daniel married Margaret Jane Wilson February 5, 1878 in Pleasants Co. WV. Daniel CRONIN and Margaret Jane WILSON had the following children: 21 i. Alice3 CRONIN was born April 13, 1881 in Pleasants Co. WV She died in 1924. Alice married Edward Runion. 22 ii. Jesse W CRONIN was born 1898 in WV. 23 iii. Walter A CRONIN was born November 16, 1878 in Pleasants Co. WV. He died Nov. 27, 1937. Walter married Pauline Klein Green May 6, 1906 in Columbiana Co. Ohio. 24 iv. Robert CRONIN was born 1884 inPleasatns Co. WV. He died Feb. 20, 1912 and is buried in Riverview Cem. E. Liverpool, Ohio.. 25 v. Clark W CRONIN was born September 14, 1888 in Hancock Co. WV. 26 vi. Isabelle CRONIN was born 1894 in Hancock Co. WV. 27 vii. Harold CRONIN was born June 14, 1896 in Hancok Co. WV. 6. Huldah2 CRONIN (Andrew1) was born March 22, 1857 in Monroe Co. Ohio. Huldah died May 5, 1935 at 78 years of age in Hancock Co.WV. Huldah is buried in Locust Hill Cem. Chester, WV. She married William COEN March 18, 1876 in Pleasants Co. WV. William was born 1852. William died 1928 at 76 years of age. Huldah CRONIN and William COEN had the following children: 28 i. Dora3 COEN was born 1883. 29 ii. Oathey COEN was born 1885. 30 iii. Matthias (Tice)2 CRONIN (Andrew1) was born October 23, 1859 in Monroe Co. Ohio. Matthias died November 14, 1939 at 80 years of age in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He married Rachel PLUM October 14, 1883 in Pleasants Co. WV. Rachel was born 1862. Rachel died 1950 at 88 years of age. Matthias (Tice) CRONIN and Rachel PLUM had the following children: 35 i. Brady Morgan3 CRONIN was born August 1, 1888 in Pleasants Co. WV. He died May 31, 1945 and is buried in Whiskey Run Cem. Pleasants Co. He married Lucreta Jamison December 28, 1910. 36 ii. Son CRONIN was born 1884 & died 1884. 37 iii. Rosa Effie CRONIN was born 1889 in Pleasants Co. WV. She died Nov. 1943 and married Eli Dora Newbrough. 38 iv. Delbert W CRONIN was born July 16, 1893 in Pleasants Co. WV.He died January 19, 1897 and is buried in Nine Mile Cem. Pleasants Co. WV. 8. David2 CRONIN (Andrew1) was born in . Monroe Co. Ohio March 11, 1862. David died March 1, 1934 in Hancock Co. WV. He is buried in Locust Hill Cem. Chester, WV. He married (Janey) Sarah Ann PRATT June 29, 1880 in Pleasants Co. WV. (Janey) was born in Ohio July 26, 1866. (Janey) was the daughter of Phillip W PRATT and Maryann MCPEEK. (Janey) died September 25, 1945. David CRONIN and (Janey) Sarah Ann PRATT had the following children: 39 i. Albert3 CRONIN was born August 31, 1881 in Pleasants Co. WV. He died July 20, 1945. Albert married Martha Hashman Nov. 24, 1904 in Pleasants Co., WV. and 2nd Sarah Catrill Aug. 23, 1915 in Brooke Co., WV. 40 ii. Ica CRONIN was born June 27, 1883 in Pleasants Co. WV. She married Dec. 29, 1901 in Pleasants Co. William Jameson . She died July 19, 1908 in Pleasants Co. 41 iii. Benjamin Kinkade CRONIN was born May 26, 1886 in Pleasants Co. WV. He died Sept. 20, 1965 and is buried in Locust Hill Cem, Chester, WV Benjamin married Alma L. Seckman Sept. 6, 1908 in Pleasants Co.. 9. Jonathan Beatty2 CRONIN (Andrew1) was born June 5, 1866 in Monroe Co. Ohio. Jonathan died April 16, 1945 in WV. Jonathan is buried at Powhatten Point Cem. He married twice. He married Mary SHINGLETON March 27, 1886 in Pleasants Co. WV. Mary was born October 13, 1867. Mary died 1888 in Pleasants Co. He married Adella (?) CASSIDY November 4, 1906 in League, WV. Adella was born November 4, 1886. Adella died January 5, 1962 at 75 years of age. Jonathan Beatty CRONIN and Adella (?) CASSIDY had the following children: 42 i. Mary3 CRONIN was born February 24, 1908 in Ritchie Co. WV and married William Slager. 43 ii. Ruth CRONIN was born February 2, 1910 in Ritchie Co. WV and married Clifford Gallagher. 44 iii. Anna CRONIN was born September 27, 1911 Ritchie Co. Wv, and married William Jackson. 45 iv. Jonathan Bradford CRONIN was born July 27, 1915 in Pleasants Co. WV and married Mabeile Hashman . 46 v. Arius Randall CRONIN was born July 3, 1919 in Pleasants Co. WV. He died Sept. 9, 1943 and is buried in Cronin Cem. Pleasants Co. WV. Arius was a paratrooper in WW II and was killed in action. 10. Andrew Warren2 CRONIN (Andrew1) was born January 25, 1869 in Monroe Co. Ohio. Andrew died September 9, 1943 at 74 years of age in Pleasants Co. WV. He married Fanny Hammond November 11, 1896 in Pleasants Co. WV. Fanny died 1956. Andrew Warren CRONIN and Fanny Hammond had the following children: 47 i. Michael3 CRONIN was born 1898 in Ritchie Co. WV. He died March 24, 1964 and is buried in Cronin Cem. Pleasants Co. He married Jennie C. Hanlan. 48 ii. Ellen CRONIN 1902 in Pleasants Co. WV. She married Okey Lee Shultz and 2nd Jake Lamp. 49 iii. Edith CRONIN was born February 28, 1902 in Pleasants Co. Wv. She married June 25, 1928 in Pleasants Co. Charles Wilbern Curfman. 50 iv. Lewis CRONIN was born March 28, 1915 in Pleasants Co. WV.
