THE WILL OF CAROLINE LAMP Submitted by Mary Rea Lamp. Pleasants County Will Book 2, Page 385 Last Will and Testament of Caroline Lamp deceased I Caroline Lamp of the County of Pleasants and State of West Virginia, being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following. That is to say. 1: It is my wish that all of my indebtedness together with my funeral expenses be paid. I having set apart and deposited in bank fifty dollars for that purpose. 2nd: It is my wish that the remainder of my personal property be divided as follows. It is my wish that my eldest son John Wilson shall have the sum of Two Hundred Dollars. 3rd: I bequeath to my son William Wilson the sum of One Hundred Dollars provided this one hundred Dollars which is held by my son in law John F. McFarland be paid to me in my life time or to my Executor. 4th: It is my wish that each of my grand children shall have the sum of Two Dollars named as follows. Chas McFarland, Letha Stout, Lena McFarland, Albert McFarland, Ray Fleming, Elizabeth C. Cox, Ethel Lamp, Stephen Wilson, Alie Wison, Rosa Wilson, Eska Wilson, Edna Wilson. 5th: I bequeath to Noah J. Lamp the sum of Two Dollars, to Iva Coss the sum of Two Dollars and to Brady Lamp Two Dollars. 6th: It is my wish that after the above named have each received the sum named, that all of the remainder of my property be divided equally between F. M. Lamp and Emma Lamp his wife their heirs and assigns. 7th: I appoint W. D. Williamson as Executor of this my Will and Testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me made and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. Watson do each solemnly swear that is our presence Caroline Lamp signed, sealed, published and declared the annexed writing as and for her last will and testament and that we each in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other signed our names to said writing as subscribing witnesses thereto on the 9th. day of April 1918.
