LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF MATHIAS LAMP PLEASANTS COUNTY WILL BOOK 3, PAGE 243 Submitted by Mary Rea Lamp. I, Mathias Lamp, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby make publish and declare the following as - for my LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT, hereby revoking all former wills made by me. (FIRST) I hereby will and direct that all my just debts by paid, including my funeral expenses, out of my personal estate, if the same be sufficient. (SECOND) I hereby will and devise to my beloved son A. G. Lamp, my farm and all my real estate owned by me situate on the waters of McKim Creek in Lafayette District of Pleasants County, State of West Virginia, except the oil and gas, as hereinafter provided, yet upon the following condition precedent, that is to say, that my said son A. G. Lamp do pay to my two beloved daughters, I. E. Weiford,, wife of S. H. Weiford, and to C. M. Butcher, wife of W. C. Butcher each the equal sum of three hundred and fifty ($350) dollars in cash, but in the event that either of my said daughters be deceased at that time, said money shall be paid to her children, that is to say, that part belonging to such deceased daughter, if such should be the case, but in case the said A. G. Lamp shall elect not to pay said sums to his saaid sisters, and shall refuse so to do then, it is my wish and I hereby direct that said land be sold and the proceeds equally divided "divided" between my said three children, A. G. Lamp, I. E. Weifore and C. M. Butcher, share and share alike. (THIRD) I, hereby will and direct that all oil and gas, and all oil and gas rights belonging to the real estate hereby devised and owned by me at the time of my death shall be held and owned jointly and in common by my said three beloved children A. G. Lamp, I. E. Weiford and C. M. Butcher share and share a like, and "and" that all oil, and gas rents, royalties and bonuses accruing from said land by reason of leases now made or that may be hereafter made on said land shall be equally divided between my said three children above named. (FOURTH) I hereby will and direct, that all my personal estate after the payment of my debts and funeral expenses be equally divided between my three children above named. (FIFTH) It is expressly intended hereby that all money and other property hereby devised, both real and personal to A. G. Lamp, I. E. Weiford and C. M. Butcher shall go to their children in case said devisees or either of them shall have died before this will shall go into effect.
