MARPLE Book 1, pages 132-133 In the Name of God Amen I Morgan H. Marple being of sound and disposing mind and body knowing the uncertainty of human life and the certainty of death do make this my last will and testament as follows: I desire that my body shall be buried at the direction of my executor hereinafter named and I direct that all my just debts be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as may be convenient. First, I give unto my son THOMAS W. MARPLE all my real estate in Pleasants County West Va. and to his son WILLIAM S. MARPLE to be held and owned by them equally. I also give and bequeath to the said THOMAS W. MARPLE and WILLIAM S. MARPLE his son all my farming utensils & stock on the farm consisting of one horse & cow one plow and wagon and --- &c. 2nd I also give and bequeath unto my son JOHN H. MARPLE the sum of ($100.00) one hundred dollars to be paid to him by my son THOMAS H.(as written) MARPLE and WILLIAM S. MARPLE within two years after my decease. I give and bequeath unto my two daughters MARY A. COLLINS and REBECCA BURKHAM each the sum of twenty dollars and all the household and kitchen furniture belonging to me except the clock which I give and bequeath to my said grandson WILLIAM S. MARPLE. I also give and bequeath unto my sons ALEXANDER MARPLE and ENOCH MARPLE each the sum of twenty dollars to be paid out of my estate within two years after my decease by my son THOMAS W. MARPLE and his son WILLIAM S. MARPLE. I also give and bequeath unto all my children to be equally divided amongst them all my estate whatever it may be inherited by me by the death of my son PERRY B. MARPLE and which property is situated in the state of Oregon and elsewhere. I further provide that the above payments to be made by my said son THOS W. MARPLE and my grand son WILLIAM S. MARPLE to JOHN H. MARPLE, MARY A. COLLINS and Rebecca BURKHAM and ALEXANDER MARPLE and ENOCH MARPLE shall be and receive a charge upon my real estate bequeathed to the said THOS W. and WILLIAM S. MARPLE until the same is paid to them in full. And I do hereby appoint THOS W. MARPLE executor without security of this my last Will and testament and I do hereby revoke any or all will by me heretofore made and to declare this to be my last will and testament.
