Standiford, of the City of St. Marys, County of Pleasants and state of West Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, realizing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, do make, publish and declare this writing as and for my last will and testament, hereby revoking, annulling and making absolutely void any and all other last wills and testaments by me at any time heretofore made. 1. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my I Executor hereinafter named as soon after my death as possible. 2. I direct my Executor hereinafter named to purchase and have erected on my burial lot in the Odd Fellows cemetery in the City of St. Marys, West Virginia, a Monument to the memory of myself and wife, Emma W. Standiford at a price not to exceed One thousand ($1OOO.OO) dollars, as soon after my death as convenient. 3. I direct my Executor hereinafter named to purchase with funds of my estate, a Monument to the memory of my Aunt Susan Standiford Gamble and Vachel Gamble her husband, to cost not over $300.00, and have same erected at their graves in the Cemetery at Clarington, Ohio. 4. I direct that a vault to be lined with brick and cement be prepared on my lot in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in St. Marys, West Virginia, for the reception of my body after my death. Said Vault to be built by A. C. Imlay, or some other competent person, the cost thereof the cost thereof to be paid by my Executor of this my will. 5. I give and bequeath to my cousin J. F. Standiford, of Parsons, Kansas, One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars. 6. I give and bequeath to my cousin, Viney Standiford, of Parsons Kansas, One thousand ($1000.00) Dollars. 7. I give and bequeath to my cousin, Sylvia Gamble Hyer, of Akron, Ohio, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 8. I give and bequeath to Blanche Gamble and Mack Gamble, of Hannibal, Ohio, jointly, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 9. I give and bequeath to the estate of my cousin, John Q. Adams, of Alexander Louisiana, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 10. I give and bequeath to my cousin, Lee Webster Wayman of New Martinsville, West Virginia, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 11. I give and bequeath to my cousin, Wilber Jones of Moundsville, West Virginia, One thousand ($1,000.00) dollars. 12. I give and bequeath to my cousin, Willie Griffith, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 13. I give and bequeath to Robert Wentz, son of my niece, Lucile B. Wentz, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 14. I give and bequeath to my niece, Mrs. Gertrude Smith, wife of W. H. Smith, of Wheeling. West Virginia, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 15. I give and bequeath to my nephew, W. H. Smith, husband of my niece, Mrs. Gertrude Smith of Wheeling, West Virginia, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 16. I give and bequeath to my cousin Fannie Jones, of Racine, Ohio, One thousand ($1OOO.OO) dollars. 17. I give and bequeath to Frank Wentz, son of my niece, Lucille B. Wentz, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 18. I give and bequeath to my niece, Lucile B. Wentz, wife of Dr. George W. Wentz, Five hundred ($500.00) dollars. 19. I give and bequeath to Dr. George W. Wentz, husband of my niece Lucile B. Wentz, Five hundred ($500.00) dollars. 20. I give and bequeath to Emma Louise Wentz, daughter of my niece, Lucile B. Wentz, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 21. I give and bequeath to Clifford C. Baldwin, of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Five hundred ($500.00) dollars. 22. I give and bequeath to my niece, Lelia B. Garrett, of Moundsville, West Virginia, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 23. I give and bequeath to William H. Wentz, son of my niece, Lucile B. Wentz, Five hundred ($500.00) dollars. 24. I give and bequeath to George W. Wentz Junior, son of my niece, Lucile B. Wentz, five hundred ($500.00) dollars. 25. I give and bequeath to Gertrude Elizabeth Wentz, daughter of my niece, Lucile B. Wentz Five hundred ($500.00) dollars. 26. I give and bequeath to the Ladies Aid Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church, of St. Marys, West Virginia, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 27. I give and bequeath to the West Virginia Weslyan College of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Buchannan, West Virginia, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. This bequest to be invested permanently by the officers of said College and only the interest accruing thereon to be expended by said officers, the principal to be permanently invested for the interest of said College. 28. I give and bequeath to the municipal corporation of the City of St. Marys, West Virginia, One thousand ($1 000.00) dollars, to be used by the officers of said City for the improvement of the water system of said City and for no other purpose. 29. I give and bequeath to the municipal corporation of the City of St. Marys, West Virginia, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars, to be used by the officers of said city for the improvement and betterment of the fire department of said City, and it may be used by said officers to assist in the purchase of a chemical Wagon or Truck for the use of said fire department of said City, if in the opinion of my Executor hereinafter named said bequest should be so used. 30. To promote and assist the Deaconess movement and this work in the West Virginia, conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, in and only for the State of West Virginia, I give and bequeath One thousand ($1000.00) dollars. 31. To the Limestone Presbyterian Church located on the Waynesburg road near Moundsville, West Virginia, I give and bequeath Five Hundred ($500.00) dollars. 32. To my niece, Jane Taylor, of Charleston, West Virginia, I give and bequeath Five Hundred ($500.00) dollars. 33. To my cousin, Ellis Jones, of Moundsville, West Virginia, I give and bequeath ($500.00) Five hundred dollars. 34. To the Home Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church, of the State of West Virginia, I give and bequeath Two hundred ($200.00) dollars. 35. I direct my Executor hereinafter named to invest Two hundred ($200.00) dollars of the funds of my estate in bonds of the government of the United States of America, and to keep said bonds perpetually, and to collect the interest as it accrues thereon, and use said interest in the proper care and upkeep of the graves of myself and wife, Emma W. Standiford. 36. All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal or mixed, vested or contingent, and wherever situated or located, I give, grant, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Emma W. Standiford, to be hers absolutely. 37. I hereby nominate and appoint The First National Bank of St. Marys, West Virginia, Executor of this my last will and testament and direct that no bond be required of my said Executor. If any or either of my beneficiaries under this my last will and testament should object to any of the terms or provisions hereof, all bequests or devises to such beneficiary is withdrawn and cancelled permanently.
