WILLIAM WHITE of the County of Pleasant and State of West Virginia, being of sound mind to make and execute this writing as my last Will and Testament I bequeath and leave to my daughter-in-law, Lavinia White, all the following described real estate for her own use and benefit and her heirs forever, situate in Pleasants County, West Virginia and bounded and described as follows: Said land being in the right hand fork of French Creek, in said county. Beginning at a stake, hickory, and beach pointer in Joseph Bill's line; thence S. 23 degrees W. 182 poles to a stake, sugar _?_ dogwood pointers,; thence N. 45 degrees W. 55 poles to a green Ash and White-oak and two Dogwood pointers; thence W. 46 poles to a stone pile, two chestnut oaks _?_ and hickory pointers; thence N. 10 1/2 degrees E. 81 poles to a small Black-oak; thence Chestnut Oaks and Hickory pointers; thence N. 56 degrees E. 118 poles to a white-oak, white oak and dogwood pointers in Joseph Bills line; thence with said line S. 68 degrees E. 46 poles to the beginning. Containing 94 1/2 acres, more or less, it being the same land that was conveyed to me by deed of Samuel White and wife; beginning the 3rd day of Oct. 1883 and recorded in Deed Book no. 9 p. 248 in the Office of the Clerk of Courts of Pleasants County. It is my express desire that said Levina White is to be sole owner in lieu of said land with power to dispose of same in any manner that may suit her, in that she may desire. I also give, desire and bequeath to my said wife Sarah White living her lifetime should she survive me for her own use and benefit during said period and for her support. The residue of my said real estate consisting of 14 acres on which I now reside being the same tract of land, purchased by me from R.J. Parker and said deed being recorded in the Clerks office of the County Court Pleasants County, And should my wife who is now incompetent of _?_ failure memory recover sufficiently her mental prowess to _?_ be able to dispose of the aforsaid land, I give the same to her in _?_ simple with power to dispose of the same, but if she does not so recover her mental prowess as before stated there, only living _?_ life the remainder to my said daughter Elizabeth Hines and her heirs forever.
