HUSBAND'S OBITUARY: Dr. David A. Corso, 82, Altoona, passed away Saturday evening at UPMC Altoona. - He was born in Altoona, son of the late Dominic M. and Mary A. (Cuzzolina) Corso. He married Georgia M. Allbaugh on July 5, 1958, in Johnstown. - Surviving are his wife; two sons: David F. Corso (Kimberly S.) of Pt. Pleasant, N.J. and Dominic A. Corso of Altoona; a daughter, Mary Ann Pleva (Russell) of Altoona; eight grandchildren: Caitlin, Emma and Michael Corso, Michael, Rachael and David Pleva, and Sarah and Grant Corso; and a brother, Francis Corso (Lynne) of Altoona. - David was a 1951 graduate of Altoona Catholic High School. He attended St. Vincent College and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry in 1958. He retired from the practice of dentistry after 45 years of service. - David was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altoona. He was also a member of the American Dental Association, Park Hills Country Club, Knights of Columbus, and a life-member of the UVA Club. - He was an avid sports fan of all Pittsburgh teams, including his alma mater, University of Pittsburgh, and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. - Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altoona, Monsignor Stanley B. Carson officiating.
