MARGARET M. ALLSUP

Class of 1951-A

Henrietta Elizabeth Allsup and her sister, Margaret Allsup, graduated from the school of nursing in 1951 and 1959, respectively. Based on available records, they were from Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, the daughters of Richard Carl Allsup and his wife, Mary Eva Beatty.

Henrietta and Margaret came from a large family and several of them were nurses, including a few who became Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, including Margaret. The other 'known' CRNAs in the family were Cecilia E. Allsup and Lt. Col. Thomas Martin Allsup.

According to his obituary (2005), Lt. Col. Thomas Martin Allsop, married Doris Jean Moran of Pittsburgh. She is probably the woman of that name who graduated in the St. Francis Class of 1966. She joined the U. S. Air Force Nurse Corps.
