GENEVIEVE MARIAN HANRATTY, 88, of Butler, died Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the Lowrie House. Born April 20, 1916 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Genevieve (Schweikert) Bronder. Surviving are three sons, J. Vincent and his wife Beverly, Frank and his wife Margie, both of Butler and Jim of Mt. Lebanon; three daughters, Sue DiTullio and Bernadette Liebler, both of Butler, and Mary Ann Alchier of Fredonia, PA; six grandsons, four granddaughters, six great-grandchildren and one sister, Colette Neice of Baldwin. Preceded in death by her husband, Vincent A. Hanratty to whom she was married to for 50 years, two sons in-law, one great-grandson, four brothers and two sisters. Friends will be received at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 East Cunningham St., Butler, 724-287-2123, 2-4 and 7-9pm Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11am from St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler. Interment will follow in St. Peter Parish Cemetery.
