Cecile Cassick, born about 1912, was the daughter of Polish immigrants, William and Caroline F. Kassik/Cassick of West Rutland, Vermont. Cecile had a sister, Pauline. William worked in a Marble Mill.

Cecile went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Education at Ohio State University in 1939. At the time of the 1940 Federal Census, Cecile was working as a teacher at a hospital in Dayton Ohio. The record indicates that her residence in 1935 was Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Cecile Frances Cassick married Alfred Henry Bell, born in Belmont County, Ohio. They had at least two sons, Marshall Alfred and Frederick Charles, both born in the 1940s, while residing in Rutland, Vermont. The birth records indicate that Alfred Henry Bell was in the U. S. Army. At some point, the family settled in Columbus, Ohio, and Alfred Bell served in the U. S. Air Force.

Cecile Cassick Bell, born September 20, 1910 (year varies in records), died December 1, 1982. Her husband, Major Alfred H. Bell, died in 1989. They are buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
