In 1930, Beatrice, a trained nurse, was a boarder in a home in Sewickley, Allegheny County, Pa. Newspaper articles confirm that the nurse is the Beatrice Cook from Armstrong County.

As shown in the following article, Beatrice witnessed her father's death in 1931 when his car was hit by a train. The mother, Cora Olive Cook, born in 1876, died in 1932. Norris McDonald Cook, born in 1882, and his wife are buried at Manor Cemetery (also called Ford City Cemetery) in Armstrong County.

"Beatrice L. Cook, 833 Latimer Ave., Ambridge" is found in the 1940-1941 list of Registered Nurses, published by the State Board of Nursing.

On July 30, 1941, in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, Beatrice Louise Cook, Nurse, 34, married John J. O'Donnell, a Merchant, age 41. Neither had been previously married, and they resided at 833 Latimer Ave., Ambridge, Beaver County. Beatrice's parents are stated as Norris M. Cook and Olive C. Stitt.

Beatrice L. Cook O'Donnell died on Saturday, July 31, 1948. Her death resulted from a ruptured duodenal ulcer with peritonitis. Her death record states her place of birth as Cochran Mills, Pa. She was buried on August 3, 1948 at Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Allegheny County.

John J. O'Donnell, born September 29, 1897, and a resident of 833 Latimer Ave., Ambridge, died at Mercy Hospital on September 17, 1949. He, too, is buried at St. Mary Cemetery.
