Geraldine Coppock was born on December 4, 1927 to Albert R. Coppock, a World War I veteran, and his wife, Annette, both born in Pennsylvania. At the time of the 1930 Federal Census of East Brady, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, Geraldine, 3, had a brother, Albert, age 5. The family was still in East Brady in 1940.

While a student the school of nursing, Geraldine Coppock participated in the U. S. World War II Cadet Nursing Corps.

On February 4, 1950, in Cook County, Illinois, Geraldine Louise Coppock married Andrew Lewis Lasick. Mr. Lasick was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II.

HUSBAND'S OBITUARY: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Jan 2, 2014 - LASICK, Andrew L. "Andy" of Bethel Park, age 88, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Loving husband of 63 years to Geraldine Lasick; beloved father of Martha Hutton, Andrea (Darrel) Crump and Alan Lasick; brother of Walter Lasick and Helen Schmeider; also survived by four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Family and friends received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Paul L. Henney Memorial Chapel, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park, where a Blessing Service will be held Friday, 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

(Coppock) Lasick - Of Bethel Park; age 90; passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 04, 2017; beloved wife of the late Andrew Lasick; loving mother of Martha Hutton, Andrea Crump(Daryl) and Alan Lasick(Sharon); sister of the late Albert Coppock; grandmother of Sheyenne Tyk, Stephen Crump(Emily), Lauren Crump and Michael Crump(Casey); great grandmother of Ashlyn Tyk, Tanner”Buddy” Tyk, Harleigh Tyk, Kaleb Crump, Brady Crump, Jake Crump, Dylan Acevedo, Kennedy Acevedo, R. J. Gomez, Alexis Crump, Alicia Bush-Martinez, Hunter Crump and Scarlett Crump. She was a graduated of the Army Nursing Corps and worked for the Veterans Hospital at Leech Farm as a Psychiatric RN until her retirement. Geraldine will be remembered for her hard work ethic, her dedication to her husband and her family and her love of life. Services are private.
