The regular monthly meeting of the St. Francis Hospital Nurses Alumnae, Pittsburgh, was held Tuesday evening, April 13, in the nurses' reception room of the St. Francis Hospital, with a large attendance and all of the officers present. The meeting was presided over by the president, Miss Adelaide Cushing, RN.

The final plans were announced for the annual reception and dance, which will be given at the German Club for the entertainment of the graduates of the 1915 class. The election of officers was announced for the coming year: President, Miss Moyle, RN; first vice-president, Miss Brosnan, RN; second vice-president, Miss Holtzer, RN; secretary, Miss Burrey, RN; assistant secretary, Miss Aaron, RN; treasurer, Miss McKinley, RN.

The Alumnae expressed its appreciation to outgoing officers, Miss Cushing and Miss Fahey, who have served faithfully as president and secretary for the last three years, and whose untiring efforts have made the St. Francis Hospital Alumnae a success.

Miss Cushing's father died in 1916: Pittsburgh Press, July 10, 2016--EDWARD BRANDON CUSHING, aged 72, a resident of Pittsburg over 50 years, died suddenly yesterday at his home, 1004 Brushton ave. He was a retired employe of the Westinghouse Airbrake Co. He is survived by his widow, one brother, Maurice Cushing of Wilkinsburg; four sons, Edward B. Cushing, Jr., of Girard, O.; Samuel Cushing of East McKeesport, Frank B. and Maurice Cushing of Pittsburg, and three daughters, Mrs. Frank B. Hald, Miss Adelaide Cushing and Miss Rebecca Cushing, all of Pittsburg.

She is buried at Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
