Hammond

At the time of the 1930 Census of Allegheny County, Pa., Regis Hammond, 32, was a student nurse at the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing. She and her father were born in New York; her mother was born in Ireland.

Sadly, Regis Margaret Hammond, age 38, died of stomach cancer on November 15, 1935 at St. Francis Hospital. Her death certificate indicates she was born on June 30, 1897 and was employed as a professional nurse at St. Francis. She is buried at St. Mary Cemetery, presumably the one in Lawrenceville.

Brother, Francis, died in Oct 1968 (PA). He is buried at St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Smethport, McKean County, Pa., the same cemetery his mother is buried in. - In Florida, Paul died in February 1978, and Edward Roland died in July 1970.
