Lucille Cloreayce Kondrat served in the Army Nurse Corps from February 20, 1943 until July 23, 1945. When she applied for Veteran Compensation in 1950, she was married and lived in Miami Springs, Dade County, Florida.

OBITUARY: Lucille Kimtantas - Former Army Nurse served during WW II - Lucille Kondrat Kimtantas of Miami Springs, Fla., formerly of Clarksville, died Friday, February 13, 1998, at Memorial Pembroke Hospice in Pembroke Pines, Fla. Mrs. Kimtantas was born in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Leonard and Caroline Urevich Kondrat. She was a registered nurse who served in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II. Mrs. Kimtantas was a life member of the Disabled Veterans. She had lived in Clarksville for 30 years before moving to Florida in 1944. Her husband, Charles Kimtantas, died in 1982. Surviving are a daughter, Caroline Clements of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; and a son, Charles Kimtantas of Sugarland, Texas. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be published in a later edition.
