MARY E. LESCO

Class of 1925

Mary E. Lesco served in the U. S. Army Nurse Corps during World War II. Born on July 22, 1903 in Portage, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John Lesko, a coal miner, and Susan Shedlock, both born in Austria. Mary served in the army between March 19, 1943 and January 1, 1946.

Nov. 7, 1993, Mary E. in her 90th year, formerly of the East End; beloved sister of Anne Judice, Helen DeFeo, Joseph, Michael, and Paul Lesco; also nieces and nephews. Ms. Lesco was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bloomfield, St. Francis Hospital Alumni, Womens Oversees Service League 120th Station Hospital.
