Martha Ann Skowronek, the daughter of Stanley Skowronek, married John Anthony Cupets on June 6, 1953. John, born December 15, 1926, served in the U. S. Army during World War II. John died November 19, 1998 and is buried at HolyTrinity Cemetery, Connellsville. John's brother, George A. Kupets, married St. Francis grad, Helen Petrasun, Class of 1958. Anne Kathryn Kupets, sister of John and George, graduated in the Class of 1955-J.

John and Martha had two sons, John "Dan" and Mark. Their six daughters were Rosemary, Janine, Martha, Rita, Trudy, and Kristen. Mark is the father of U. S. Olympic Gymnast, Courtney Kupets.
