ABRAHAM BRYSON, 3rd Sergeant, Company "B"

The news reached Moundsville this morning that Abraham Bryson, formerly of this city, had died at the Soldiers Home in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Bryson was well known in this city, was a charter member of the National Union and also belonged to this post of the G.A.R.

He has two sons in Moundsville, Al and George, and two daughters in Pittsburg. The G.A.R. will probably be in charge of the funeral, which will be held here.

VETERAN'S FUNERAL YESTERDAY - The remains of Abram Bryson, a veteran of the civil war and a former resident of this place, were interred in Mt. Rose cemetery yesterday afternoon. The funeral occurred from the residence of his son, J. A. Bryson of Baker avenue. The services were conducted by the Rev. W. B. King and were attended by the G.A.R. and I.O.O.F. of this city, of which organizations the deceased had long been a member. Mr. Bryson died in the Soldiers' Home in Dayton, Ohio, on the first of the month. The remains were buried in Dayton, but his children had the body brought here for burial.
