Thomas A. Fleming, 1st Lt., Company "G" and Captain, Company "B" of the 12th West Virginia Infantry, was the son of Matthew and Eliza Fleming of Fairmont, Marion County, W. Va. He married Clarissa Scott 30 Sep 1858 in Marion County.
