1.  Francis M Sockman1 was born in 1844 in Marshall Co, VA.  He served in the
military in Civil War, Co C 12th WV Inf.  Pvt Co C 12th WV Vol Inf, age 19, 27
FEB 1864 - 16 JUN 1865.
He was the s/o Henry W Sockman & Kanacka "Nackey" Shepherd.

He was married to Celina Richmond (daughter of Isaac Richmond and Hannah
McDaniel) on 12 APR 1866.  Celina Richmond1 was born on 11 NOV 1846 in Marshall
Co, VA.  She died on 11 SEP 1916.  

Francis M Sockman and Celina Richmond had the following children:

	+3	ii.	Nathaniel Bruce Sockman.
	+4	iii.	Margaret B Sockman.
	5	iv.	George William Sockman1 was born on 6 OCT 1874 in Marshall Co, WV.  He
died on 24 DEC 1897 in Greene Co, PA.  He was buried in Salem Meth Ch Cem, West
Finley Twp, Washington Co, PA.

SECOND GENERATION

2.  James Elmer Sockman1 was born on 29 JAN 1867 in Marshall Co, WV.  He died
on 29 NOV 1902 in Greene Co, PA.  He was buried in Salem Meth Ch Cem, West
Finley Twp, Washington Co, PA.     

J E Sockman died at his home near Beham, West Finley Township, on Saturday
morning, November 29, at _ o'clock, of paralysis, aged 36 years.  The deceased
had been ill for nearly a year, during a greater part of which time he was
almost helpless.  Mr Sockman was a member of the Salem M E church.  He was held
in high esteem by all with whom he was acquainted.  He is survived by Mrs
Sockman and one child, Bruce Sockman, of Tylersdale, is a brother of the
deceased.

PA.  He (or she) died on 26 OCT 1901 in Cooneytown, Washington Co, PA.  He (or
she) was buried in Cooneytown Cem, Washington Co, PA.

3.  Nathaniel Bruce Sockman1 was born on 15 NOV 1868 in Marshall Co, WV.

He was married to Catherine Holmes in 1900.

4.  Margaret B Sockman1 was born in 1871 in Marshall Co, WV.

 Margaret B Sockman and Isaac William Ryan had the following children:

	+13	i.	Stanley E Ryan.
	14	ii.	Iva Ryan2 was born in 1897 in PA.

6.  Emma Leota Sockman1 was born in 1873 in Marshall Co, WV.  She died in
1917.  She was buried in Pleasant Valley Cem, Marshall Co, WV.

She was married to Chester Conners in 1900.

8.  Laura Sockman1 was born on 15 OCT 1881 in Marshall Co, WV.

She was married to Strawn in 1902.

9.  Frank Sockman1 was born on 24 MAR 1884 in Fish Ck, Marshall Co, WV.  He
died in JAN 1970 in McRae, AK.

He was married to Nora.

10.  Wylie A Sockman1 was born on 16 MAR 1888 in Marshall Co, WV.  He died in
APR 1974 in Flint, MI.


THIRD GENERATION

13.  Stanley E Ryan2 was born in 1895 in Marshall Co, WV.

He was married to Hazel Sarah Bradley.  

Stanley E Ryan and Hazel Sarah Bradley had the following children:

	15	i.	Stanley Melville Ryan2.
