FIRST GENERATION

1.  Jacob Josiah Roberts was born on 17 AUG 1837 in VA.  He died on 14 MAR 1914.
He was buried in Walker Cem, Whiteman Hill, Wetzel Co, WV.  He served in the
military in Civil War, Co B 12th WV Inf.  Pvt Co B 12th WV Vol Inf, age 25, 20
AUG 1862 - 16 JUN 1865.  He was the s/o George Mill Roberts & Elizabeth Jefferson.

He was married to Rachel Griffith (daughter of Daniel Griffith and Mary Van Sickel)
in 1861.  Rachel Griffith was born in 1840 in MD.

Jacob Josiah Roberts and Rachel Griffith had the following children:

	2	i.	Samuel Jefferson Roberts was born in 1861.
	3	ii.	Isaac Mills Roberts was born in 1864.
	4	iii.	Martha J Roberts was born in 1866.
	5	iv.	Charlotte Roberts was born in 1869.
	6	v.	Henry F Roberts was born on 11 JUN 1872.
	7	vi.	Mary A Roberts was born on 11 JUN 1872.

He was married to Hannah Anne Sloan on 26 OCT 1872.  Hannah Anne Sloan was born on 2
OCT 1845.  She died on 19 APR 1912.  She was buried in Walker Cem, Whiteman Hill,
Wetzel Co, WV.  

Jacob Josiah Roberts and Hannah Anne Sloan had the following children:

	8	i.	Francis M Roberts was born on 6 JUL 1875.
	9	ii.	Louisa J Roberts was born in OCT 1877.  She died in 1939.  She was
buried in Walker Cem, Whiteman Hill, Wetzel Co, WV.
	10	iii.	James W Roberts was born on 20 DEC 1879.
	11	iv.	Sarah A Roberts was born on 16 MAY 1882.
	12	v.	John A Roberts was born on 11 SEP 1884.  He died on 24 AUG 1937.
 He was buried in Walker Cem, Whiteman Hill, Wetzel Co, WV.
	13	vi.	Lulu B Roberts was born on 14 FEB 1887.
	14	vii.	Thomas C Roberts was born on 19 NOV 1890.
