The marriage record shows that John A. Trenter, 22, married Margaret Moslander, 24, on April 24, 1868 in Marshall County. She was Margaret Jane Bush, the widow of William Moslander, who died during the war, while in service in Company A 12th Infantry. Margaret died in 1887 and is buried at Fairview Cemetery, according to the death record. Apparently, John married "Laura B." It is not certain that the "John Trantor," as transcibed in the 1900 census, is he, but probably.
