FIRST GENERATION

1.  William H Hicks was born in 1839 in Marshall Co, VA.  He was buried in
Cameron Cem, Marshall Co, WV.  He served in the military in Civil War, Co C
12th WV Inf.  Corp Co C, 12th WV Vol Inf, age 23, 23 AUG 1862 - 16 JUN 1865. 
He was the s/o Joseph G Hicks & Eliza Jane.

Hicks, William H, Corp Co C 12th WV Inf, 13 AUG 1862 - 14 JUL 1865.  Gunshot
wound to Hand.

He was married to Eleanor J White (daughter of Zachriah Green White and
Margaret Fleming) on 11 FEB 1860 in Marshall Co, VA.1  Eleanor J White was born
on 27 AUG 1844 in Marshall Co, VA.  She died on 13 NOV 1872 in Marshall Co, WV.
She was buried in Cameron Cem, Marshall Co, WV.

He was married to Emma V Moore on 10 MAR 1875 in Marshall Co, WV.  Emma V
Moore was born in 1855 in WV.  

William H Hicks and Emma V Moore had the following children:

	2	i.	Bessie Hicks was born in 1876 in Marshall Co, WV.
	3	ii.	Harry Hicks was born in 1878 in Marshall Co, WV.
