     On this 9th day of June, A.D. 1905, personally appeared before me FLAVIUS K. WILSON, aged 67 years, a resident of PARKERSBURG, County of WOOD, State of W. Va., who being duly sworn, declares that he is the identical person who was enrolled at Clarksburg under the name of FLAVIUS K. WILSON on the 8 day of OCT, 1861, as a PRIVATE in F. 1ST W. Va. CAV. in the service of the United States, in the war of the Rebellion, and served at least ninety days, and was honorably discharged at Wheeling W.Va, on the 8th day of JULY 1865. That he is part incapacitated for earning a support by manual labor be reason of age. That he was not employed in the military or naval service prior to OCT 8th, 1861.

That he has not been employed in the military or naval service since JULY 8th, 1865.
That he has not been employed in the military or naval service since JULY 8th, 1865.
That he is now a pensioner, That he has heretofore applied for a pension. RATE $8.00 Ctf. 1,097,552
That he was born on the 23 day of JULY one thousand eight hundred and 37.
That he makes this declaration for the purpose of being placed on the pension roll of the United States under the provisions of the Act of June 27, 1890, as amended by the Act of May 9, 1900.

     That his Post-Office address is 925 LYNN ST. PARKERSBURG County of WOOD, State of W.VA. That he hereby appoints R. W. SHOPPELL, of Washington, D.C., his true and lawful attorney, to prosecute his claim.

DECLARATION FOR WIDOW'S PENSION

     State of WEST VA, County of WOOD, ss:
     On this 9th day of JUNE, A.D. one thousand nine hundred and 20, personally appeared before me, a NOTARY PUBLIC, within and for the County and State aforesaid, SARAH JANE WILSON, aged 74 years, a resident of PARKERSBURG, County of WOOD, State of W.Va., who being duly sworn according to law, declares that she is the widow of FLAVIUS K. WILSON, who enlisted under the name of FLAVIUS K. WILSON on the 8th day of OCTOBER, A.D. 1861, as a PRIVATE in Company F. in the 1ST Regiment of VIRGINIA MOUNTED VOL and served at least ninety days in the late War of the Rebellion, in the service of the United States, who was honorably discharged DECEMBER 31st 1863, and died MAY 12th 1920. That he was ----- employed in the military or naval service otherwise than as stated above CO F. 1st REG WVA MT. CAV. FROM DEC. 23rd 1863 to JULY 8, 1865.

     That he was never employed in the military or naval service of the United States after the 8th day of JULY 1865. That she was married under the name of SARAH JUNE PALMER to said FLAVIUS K. WILSON, on 27th(?) day of SEPT A.D. 1865, by REV KING at GRAFTON, W.Va., there being no legal barrier to such marriage; that she had not been previously been married; that her said husband had not been previously married.

     That she has not remarried since the death of the said FLAVIUS K. WILSON.

     That she has not abandoned the support of any one of her children, but that they are still under her care or maintenance. That --- prior application for pension has been filed by herself or the soldier - - SOLDIER PENSIONED UNDER CERT NO 1097552.

     That she makes this declaration for the purpose of being placed on the pension roll of the United States, under the provisions of the act of April 19, 1908 as amended - - She hereby appoints J. T. PIGGOTT of PARKERSBURG, WVA her true and lawful attorney.....
