     Nicholas Heitger and Mathias Heitger were probably brothers but no proof has been found.

     The information about them is presented on this common page and maybe, eventually, the relationship between them will be known.

NICHOLAS HEITGER

     In 1870, Nicholas Heitger, 31, Farm Laborer, born in Prussia, was residing in Salisbury, Meigs County, Ohio with his wife, Mary, 30, born in Bavaria. At that time, they had a son, George, age 1, born in Ohio.

     The family was found in 1880 and Mary A. was called Almira, perhaps her middle name.
