William B. ( Butler? ) Harrison was born 12 Jul 1816 in Loudon County, Va., to Russell Butler Harrison and Mary Eliza WAGENER. He married (1) Hannah E. HAYES ca 1835; (2) Mariah Jane SNEDEGAR 16 Aug 1864, Jackson County, Ohio. William died 02 Nov 1892 in Wellston, Jackson County, Ohio and is buried in Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston. He was the father of 11 children, 6 by first wife, 5 by second wife. He was a Capt. in Co. C of the 1st W.Va. Cavalry and was court martialed Dec 1864 and dismissed from service. He was a medical physician, receiving his education at Transylvania Medical School in Lexington, Ky.
