At the time of the 1850 census of Marshall County, William T. Morrow, a Tailor, lived with his wife, Mahala (Boggess), and their children, Elizabeth, S. I., J. A. [John A.], Thomas D., and James R. – Two more daughters, Mary and Emeline, were born in the early 1850s. The soldier’s service was credited to Doddridge County, and the family had apparently moved there after 1850. They are not readily found in the 1860 census but the widow is there in 1870. She received pension, Certificate #204632.
