     From the biography of Richard Huggins:

     Richard Huggins married (1) Sept. 27, 1849 by Squire J. Finley Mays at West Alexander, Washington Co., Pa. to Susan Ann Conners born 1832 in Marshall Co., W.Va. Richard married (2) Dec 13, 1897 at St. Clairsville, Belmont Co., Ohio by Rev. David W. Chandler to Selina A. (Shorts) St. Myers, the daughter of Henry Shorts. She was born Apr. 27, 1842 at Birmingham, Worcester Co., England and died Dec. 28, 1922 at Wheeling, Ohio Co., W.Va. She was buried at the Peninsula Cemetery, Wheeling, W.Va. Selina's first husband John P. St. Myers died Aug. 1, 1889 at Wheeling, W.Va. He was a Pvt. in Co. V (note: error - was in Co C. of the 3 mo organization), 1st Regt., W.Va. Vol. Inf. during the Civil War, in the Union Army. She lost her first husband's pension when she married Richard Huggins but she received Richard's pension after he died which amounted to $30, until her death. Selina moved from Moyston St. to 141 24th St., Wheeling, W.Va. She had a son to her first husband named Alonzo St. Myers and she lived with him for a time after Richard died on Mozart Hill Road, Wheeling, W.Va.
