John W. MOSS, commissioned July 3 1861. Appointed colonel at organization of regiment; resigned May 20, 1862.
George R. LATHAM, commissioned May 24, 1862; m/o 11 Jan 1865. Was 29 years of age when he enrolled for service at Grafton, W.Va. Elected Captain of Co. B., 2nd Regiment Volunteer Infantry at its organization; promoted and commissioned Colonel and mustered into service May May 20 1862, at Wheeling, W.Va., vice John W. Moss resigned. Slightly wounded in the foot August 24, 1862, at White Sulfur Springs, W.Va. Engaged in battles of Carrick's Ford, 1861; McDowell, W.Va. May 9, 1862; Cedar Mountain, Rappahannock Campaign, Second Bull Run, Beverly, Droop Mountain and Rocky Gap. - Was honorably discharged from the service of the United States.
Robert MORAN, commissioned 3 Jul 1861. Was appointed Lieutenant-Colonel at organization of the regiment; resigned May 20, 1862.
Alexander SCOTT, commissioned June 30, 1863; mustered out June 14, 1864. Was a citizen of Mississippi at the breaking out of the Rebellion. Elected Captain of Co. F., at its organization; promoted to Lieutenant-Colonel July 1, 1862, vice Moran resigned. Slightly wounded in the left arm August 27, 1863, in action at the battle of Rocky Gap, W.Va. Engaged in battles of McDowell, Cross Keys, Cedar Mountain, Rappahannock Campaign, Droop Mountain, Rocky Gap, Second Bull Run, and Beverly. Mustered out expiration term of service.
James D. OWENS, commissioned July 3, 1861(?). Promoted from Captain of Company G., and transferred to Field and Staff; resigned July 7, 1862.
Thomas GIBSON, commissioned July 21, 1862. Transferred from Co. D., vice Owens resigned; resigned to accept promotion, date unknown.
Henry C. FLESHER, commissioned Nov. 11, 1862. Transferred from Co. F., vice Gibson resigned; resigned Feb. 22, 1863.
Patrick McNALLY, commissioned Mch. 16, 1863. Transferred from Co. H., and appointed Major by Governor Peirpoint Mch 24, 1863, vice Flesher resigned. Died of wounds recrived in action at the battle of Rocky Gap, W.Va., August 27, 1863.
Douglas D. BARCLAY, commissioned Apr. 25, 1864; m/o Jume 14, 1864. Transferred from Co. D., vice McNally died. Mustered out expiration term of service.

Eli T. LOVE, commissioned July 11, 1863; m/o June 14, 1864. Promoted from Assistant Surgeon July 11, 1863, vice Hazlett resigned. Present at battles of Beverly, Rocky Gap, and Droop Mountain. Mustered out at expiration term of service.
Sample FORD, commissioned Aug. 6, 1861. Appointed Assistant Surgeon at organization of the regiment; resigned Sept 18, 1862.
Theodore MILLSPAUGH, commissioned Sept 20, 1862; m/o June 14, 1864. Was appointed additional Assistant Surgeon according to act of Congress. Present at the battles of Cedar Mountain, Rappahannock Campaign, Second Bull Run, Beverly and Droop Mountain. - Mustered out at expiration term of service.
James W. W. BOLTON, commissioned Aug. 24, 1861; m/o June 14, 1864. Was appointed chaplain by Governor Peirpoint at organization of Regiment. Was present at all engagements except Droop Mountain. Mustered out expiration term of service.
