OBITUARY

CUNNINGHAM, ALICE BIRTA BEEVER, 88, formerly of Boggs Run Rd. Benwood, died Sunday Aug. 29, 1999, in Crestview Health Care Center St. Clairsville. She was a home maker and a member of St. Mathew's Lutheran Church, Benwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman G., her parents, John and Carrie Kalbitzer Beever; two sons, Donald and Earl; a daughter, Jacqueline Sonnenwald; three brothers; and three sisters. Surviving are two sons, Melvin L. Cunningham of McMechen, Ronald C. of Baltimore, Maryland; a daughter, Marcella J. Sease of Wheeling; a brother, Fredric Beever of Wheeling; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grand children. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Tuesday at Kepner Funeral Home, 36 Jacobs St. Wheeling. Services held at 10 am. Wednesday. Interment in Mt. Zion. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mathews Lutheran Church, 620 Boggs Run Rd.

Alice married Herman Grant Cunningham, son of William Grant Cunningham and Nettie Florence Atkinson. (Herman Grant Cunningham was born on 15 Apr 1905, died on 14 Nov 1983 and was buried in Mt Zion Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.)
