OBITUARY

Mrs. Nellie F. Tappe, for 40 years a resident of Boggs Run, died suddenly on Saturday at 9 p.m. at her home, 53 Glenburn Drive, Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, where she had been living for more than three years. She was born in Ritchie County, W.Va., Jan. 6, 1896, daughter of the late William Grant and Nettie Atkinson Cunningham and came to Boggs Run as a girl. Surviving are her husband, William Tappe, to whom she was married Nov. 11, 1914; a son Charles W., Glen Dale; eight brothers, Elmer, John and Herman Cunningham, Boggs Run; Floyd, Allendale; Clyde, Littleton; James, Wheeling; Elzie, W. Finley, Pa., and Harold Cunningham, Moundsville; a sister, Mrs. Cora McArdle (McCardle), Glen Dale; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Thirty-sixth and Jacob Sts., where services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Arthur Prichard, pastor of the Warwood Presbyterian Church. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
